Aloe Vera Gel For Acne Questions Answered

Share

William asks…

gel for acne?

I have been recommended to use aloe vera gel to treat my acne. I’ve decided to find out how to use aloe vera gel for my acne and the results of it before buying aloe vera gel. Have anyone tried using aloe vera gel to treat her acne? Can you please share with me how you applied the aloe vera gel? Do you wash it off in the morning after you apply it at night or do you have other ways of applying it? Thanks! :D

:

6 things must be done EVERYDAY to reduce/prevent acne: 1)Wash, Tone, Moisturize Face 2 or 3 Times 2)Don’t Let Dirty Things Touch Face 3)Eat Healthy Food, Limit Junk Food 4)Take Multi Vitamin Mineral 5)Drink About 64 oz Pure Water 6)Do 20 to 30 Min Aerobic . Doing 1 or a few of these will NOT keep skin clear as possible!

Use 3 things on face: Wash, Toner, Moisturizer. Do this at least 2x a day, morning & night (possibly 3rd time, midday, if super oily/sweating). Products that work for one person may not work for another person, so always do small patch test on face for a couple of days to see how skin will react to product! Don’t quickly jump from product to product! Give skin a break before trying new product to prevent irritation! Natural & gentle products are sometimes more than acne !

NATURAL & GENTLE: Wash face with warm water & Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar by Johnson & Johnson. Tone face with Witch Hazel (Thayers or Dickinson’s) or Homemade Toner. Witch Hazel reduces bacteria/swelling, minimizes pores, helps acne. Make toner by mixing 1 part With The Mother (Try Bragg) with 5 parts pure water. Test small area! If burns/to drying, use more water! Use at least 1 part water! Less Water = Stronger, More Drying Formula. This vinegar kills bacteria, absorbs excess oil, dries out pimples, lightens scars, refines skin tone. Don’t use other types of vinegar, will not work! Moisturize face with Lily Of The Desert Aloe Vera Gelly, its 99% organic, contains vitamin A, C, E! Aloe vera helps renew skin cells, heals blemishes/scars. Don’t use other brands of aloe, has very little aloe & to much junk in it which can irritate skin!

ACNE MEDICINE: Try 1 of these active ingredients for a period of time to see if skin improves: Benzoyl Peroxide, Salicylic Acid, Sulfur, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, Beta Hydroxy Acid, Lactic Acid, Glycolic Acid. Try acids by Perfect Peel Solutions, Cellbone Technology, Skin Laboratory, Alpha Hydrox/Neoteric Cosmetics. Acid heals acne, cyst, scars! If over the counter stuff doesn’t work, see doctor to get stronger medicine.

FACE PRODUCTS & MAKEUP: Only use oil free products that won’t clog pores & cause acne! Try Revlon ColorStay Combination/Oily Skin Foundation. Using a Makeup Setting Spray (Skindinavia, Model In A Bottle, Urban Decay, Sephora) will give you shine-free skin all day! Old makeup, makeup tools harbor bacteria, Use fresh makeup, wash/replace tools often! Wash makeup off face before going to bed!

FACE MASK can be done once a week. Make mask by mixing plain oatmeal with water. Oatmeal is soothing, absorbs excess oil, makes skin smoother. Wash face with warm water, apply mask. Leave on for 30 min. Rinse off with warm water, Apply toner & moisturizer.

HANDS-HAIR-STUFF: Keep dirt & bacteria at bay to prevent breakouts! Don’t touch face with hands, Don’t let phone nor dirty oily hair touch face, Don’t lean face on objects, Clean glasses often, Wash pillowcase, sheets, blanket, washcloth, towel often. Always wash hands before applying face products!

KEEP MOVING: Aerobic Exercise, Face Massage, Dry Skin Brushing increases circulation & delivery of nutrients to skin cells, encourages good blood supply, helps remove toxins, controls acne breakouts! Do 20to30 min of exercise, everyday or every other day! For outstanding results, do all 3 activities, everyday! When exercising, drink water & immediately take a shower to remove sweat & dirt! For face massage, wash hands & face, apply toner, use aloe vera as massage gel. Do 10 min massage before going to bed. Don’t wash face again, let aloe dry on face. Buy any book on face massage (Ten Minute Facelift by Jennie Harding). Dry Skin Brushing must be done correctly & carefully, read book, Dr. Berkowsky’s Vital Chi Skin Brushing System by Bruce Berkowsky! Never brush delicate face! Take shower after brushing to wash off dead skin & dirt!

DIET & LIFESTYLE: Research has shown that there is a connection between certain kinds of food & acne! Read book The Clear Skin Diet by Alan C. Logan & Valori Treloar! This book has detailed info on what to eat and not to eat to help reduce/prevent acne! Always eat healthy food – fruit, vegetables, lean meat, fiber, beans, wholegrains, foods rich in omega 3 fatty acids, zinc, vitamin A & C. Limit intake of frozen meals, dairy, milk, fat, oil, butter, greasy/fried foods, sugar, candy, salt, dessert, caffeine, coffee, pop, alcohol. Always avoid cigarettes, tobacco, illegal drugs! Its hard to get all vitamins minerals skin needs, so take supplement everyday! Overdosing on vitamins minerals from food or is dangerous! Drinking about 64 oz of pure water everyday improves skin quality, flushes out toxins, delivers nutrients to skin! You can also include 100% Fruit Juice as part of your daily total. Acne can be caused or aggravated by constipation, make sure bow movements are regular! Getting enough sleep helps skin repair itself!

Helen asks…

?

Ok so i bought a moisturizing aloe vera facial gel that’s 98% Aloe Vera. I have some acne that i’m currently using medication from the doctor for. I want to use the aloe vera gel to help get rid of some of the scars and as a moisturizer seeing how dry the medication makes my skin. I’m just wondering if it will cause anymore acne?

Chloe Adisson answers:

The aloe vera will just dry out ur skin and acne!

James asks…

for acne?

On the back of the bottle it say “aloe Vera gel cools and soothes minor skin irritations, abrasions, and sunburns. This blend of Aloe Vera Gel helps restore moisture to damaged skin and helps prevent drying and peeling. Great for softening and nourishing skin year round.” Can i use this for my acne? If i can how would? like how often and all that? on the front it just says ” Aloe Vera Gel, moisturizes and soothes dry, sun damaged skin” don’t no if that helps or not but please help!

Chloe Adisson answers:

It’s great for acne if you’re not allergic to it. Most people aren’t – it’s an ingredient in most organic skin care products. If you’re allergic to onions, garlic, or tulips, that would be an indicator of an aloe vera allergy.
As for application, apply just enough so your skin feels moist, use morning and night as with any other moisturizer.

Sandra asks…

?

hey i have heard that aloe vera gel is great for acne but im not sure if i should buy the product or not.
does it reduce redness and marks? i have mild acne but does it make the acne worse? like more pimples?
thanks!

Chloe Adisson answers:

Don’t put it specifically on pimples. If you have one that you picked at and its dry and flaky, it seems to work pretty ok at helping that. Putting it directly on festering pimples would make them worse. Or it did for me, anyways.

Laura asks…

aloe Vera gel for acne/acne scars?

i just need a simple answer don’t tell me about some other product that works great all i want to know is does aloe vera gel work on acne and acne scars? and if a constantly use it will it lessen the amount of acne?
p.s i use the real plant gel

Chloe Adisson answers:

Aloe vera pulp is good for digestive organs & as well as it retains the moisture of the skin .If you are asking about prevention of acne by using it alone , My answer probably may be or not . Acne problem is due to hormonal imbalance & disturb immune system of the body.
Aloe vera alone can not can improve both of the above.
As you have restricted to answer more other than aloe vera.So I finish here.

8 Cheap But Effective Acne Home Remedies

Share

Acne vulgaris or common acne can affect people from the age of 10 to well past 40. Acne is the result of oil building up in the pores of the skin. If the cells near the surface of the skin get blocked, oil can build up attracting bacteria and resulting in some type of inflammation. If the build up is near the surface the result is a pustule, if it builds up deeper in the pore, the result is a pimple or papule. Hormonal imbalance during puberty, menstrual cycle and pregnancy are often found to be responsible for increase in sebum production. Some people may get too many body acne due to genetic reasons. Poor hygiene, side effects of medicines and stress are the other major body acne causes in general. Fortunately, there are many home you can make to help clear up your acne.

1. Cucumber: Take a cucumber, cut it into small pieces and put it inside a blender to prepare a smooth paste. Apply it all over the affected part of the body and keep it untouched for at least 15 minutes and then wash off thoroughly with water. Cucumber cleans up the skin and makes it free from dirt.

2. Wash face daily with 1 part lavender essential oil to 10 parts water. Lavender is known for its antiseptic and anti-fungal properties. Use Lavender oil added to chamomile to treat eczema on the skin.

3. Wash skin twice a day with a mild cleanser. Over washing can lead to dry or irritated skin. Exfoliating scrubs and masks can be great to improve the skin quality, remove the outer skin layer and open pores. For acne treatment many chose glycolic or alpha hydroxyl acids can gently exfoliate the skin. Oatmeal makes a great natural treatment for acne.

4. Mix lemon juice with rose water. One lemon with same proportion of rose water will do. Apply it on your face and rinse it only after 30 mins. Constantly doing so will not only get rid of acne and pimples, but it also has the effect of lightening the skin blemishes.

5. Crush fenugreek leaves into a paste, and apply the paste over your face before going to bed to help prevent acne on the face. Wash off the fenugreek paste in the morning.

6. Eat Healthy Foods: Along with these body acne home remedies, you must keep a watch on what you are eating. Fatty foods, sugary foods, spicy foods often aggravate acne infection. Therefore, you must stay away for all such foods. Your diet should include plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, nuts and lean meat. Good amount of vitamins A, E and C is important for acne control. You should drink 8 glasses of water everyday. Water helps in elimination of toxins from various parts of the body including the skin surface. Thus it weakens the infection that causes growth of acne. It is not just good for treating the acne but helps in acne prevention as well.

7. Rub raw garlic on the affected area of skin. You can also eat three seeds of raw garlic once per day for about a month to help alleviate acne as well.

8. Even cooking condiments such as vinegar and salt have their uses as home remedies for acne. Mix the two together, before rubbing the mix over the pimples. Leave it there for some 10 to 20 mins before removing with lukewarm water.

Tea Tree Oil And A Whole Foods Diet: A Complete Remedy For Chronic Disease

Share

Tea tree oil has numerous uses in first aid treatments because of its triple antibiotic features: it’s an antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal agent. The oil’s first aid uses are fairly straightforward simply because we all know what to anticipate from a first aid treatment: we know we can use the substance to sanitize, heal cuts and wounds, & ease pain.

A chronic situation is more complex. It’s common to hear someone with a chronic disease, such as acne, asthma or a yeast infection for instance, say that “such-and-such a remedy” worked at first, or was efficient for a while, and then the issue came back again. Or perhaps the symptoms had been lessened but never totally disappeared. That’s because many from the organisms responsible for these conditions happen naturally in our environments, or in our own bodies, and are kept in balance till something causes the stability to shift and the organisms to encounter overgrowth. That’s when we encounter a severe acne outbreak, an asthma attack, or the signs and symptoms of yeast infection.

To be able to successfully treat the chronic condition, we have to recreate the state of stability, or in other words, we have to deal with the root of the imbalance. I believe that in many cases this can be accomplished through the use of tea tree oil along with dietary adjustments.

In most instances, when I feel a cold coming on or sense the onset of a cold sore (things I rarely experience any more), I simply apply tea tree oil to my temples, throat & chest or wherever I feel the aches or the cold sore coming on, ingest a cough drop containing minute quantities of tea tree oil, and get rid of sugar from my diet plan. I also buy a bag of oranges & eat them freely, drink plenty of h2o, & get a couple of extra hours of sleep at night or by napping during the day. Also, a steamy hot bath having a couple of drops of tea tree oil in it works wonders. These things generally return me to great well being.

As for an entire foods diet:

Include: * Fresh vegetables and fruits * Fish & poultry * Flax seed (Linseed) * Other essential fatty acids, such as olive fat and nuts * Whole grains * Organically raised meals where possible. * Plenty of fresh h2o * 1 tablespoon Psyllium seed husk fiber and/or 6 to 8 tablespoons flax seed meal and/or cup Oat bran every day

Steer clear of: * Alcohol * Animal fats * Caffeine * Dairy goods * Fast foods * Hydrogenated oils and margarine * Processed foods * Junk foods * Sugar * White flour products

These days I generally feel dis-ease approaching throughout the winter months, due to poor eating habits during the holiday season, & due to occasionally using junk food to ease “cabin fever” signs and symptoms (depression, uneasiness, lethargy). I might know better, but I’m not a saint! I’ve learned to forgive myself, then get back on the program with renewed vigor.

Weight Loss Tips In New Port Richey, Florida

Share

Many of us seem to be born with the dreadful fat genes that plagues us all through our life. We do see those blessed skinny people that seem to get away with eating everything and anything. But for the unlucky majority of us trying to consistently manage what we eat can be such a daunting task. Trying to eat only the foods that are healthy for us gets tiring after awhile and we then start dreaming of the bad foods that we miss. This ends up being our downfall, we look at those desirable foods more frequently and we end up indulging in them a little more often than we were. You will be able to get past those temptations with the proper guidance supporting you.

You need to take out the bad fats right off the top. Even if it says no fat, you still have to watch. The food companies try to convince us they are doing us a favor by adding something synthetic to the food that isn’t fat. These unknown ingredients don’t get recognized by your digestive system.

Most people are on the bandwagon with the fat free media, but did you know you lose more weight by not eating fat free and eating small portions of the good fats, says Harvard? In order to survive we must have healthy fat so fat free is not really the problem. The problem lies more in the types of fat you are eating. Trans and saturated fats are the ones to be free of but the replacements for fats are usually synthetic which is not natural for us to digest.

You’ll also want to play close attention to your sugar intake. If you eat sugar products often, the brain demands more of it. When something so fantastic happens to the brain it sends messages to your body to do it again. Sugar is that fantastic and your brain can’t wait for more. It does eventually turn into an addiction just like drugs catch hold of a repeated user. Sugar is hidden in most of the processed foods that are available to us. It is somewhat deceptive because they don’t come right out and say it contains sugar. They slap an unfamiliar name on it and try to put it past us.

Another find is when we eat white flour your body will respond in the same fashion with the same impulses as sugar sends throughout the body. Avoid white flour wherever possible and eat whole grains instead. Instead of feeling sweet forbidden you can do your body some good by eating dark chocolate and getting at least nutrients at the same time. All our brain really wants is valuable nutrients and when it gets that, it sends out the “I am full” signal a lot sooner so your appetite gets curbed sooner. Sugar makes your metabolism run in low gear which will make the fat burning slower so by not having sugar it will spike itself up.

Eat healthy fat, cut the sugar, boost your metabolism and you will be well on your way to losing the extra weight you didn’t want in the first place. That will bring you much closer to the goals you have for yourself.

Treating Gout

Share

Purine rich foods contribute to a painful type of arthritis called gout. The human body needs a small amount of purine, but it can cause problems if you consume it in excess amounts. Purine gets converted into uric acid. Uric acid that does not get removed from the blood stream normally gets expelled in urine. If the body does not process it properly, it converts to uric acid into urate crystals. Urate crystals build up in joints and cause the type of arthritis known as gout. A good way to avoid developing this painful condition is to reduce the amount of purine rich foods that you eat.

The cause of gout may be metabolic, renal, or both. Metabolic gout is innate, and several genetic factors have the potential to produce the condition. In this form of gout, the body produces more uric acid than can be cleared by the kidneys into the urine. Renal gout is caused by one of many possible renal dysfunctions. In this form of gout, the body may produce normal levels of uric acid, but the action of the kidneys are insufficient to clear the compound from the blood.

Gout occurs when there is too much uric acid in the blood. Certain individuals are more prone to get gout, including males over the age of 30, people who have a history of gout running in the family, individuals who are overweight, those who consume more than two alcoholic drinks daily or two carbonated beverages sweetened with sugar, cigarette smokers, those who regularly use diuretic medications and those who include abundant amounts of red meat, poultry, yeast and seafood in their daily diets.

Purine rich foods are not the only factor that can contribute to a person developing gout. Obesity causes the body to produce more uric acid. Keep as close as possible to your ideal body weight to further reduce your risk.

A major change in diet is an important, if not primary, natural for gout. Gout is seriously aggravated by purine foods, and may even be the sole reason for the gout. Some purine foods include organ meat, meat gravy, stock, mussels, herring, anchovies, shellfish, sardines, asparagus, and mushrooms. White flour, spinach, cauliflower, dried beans, poultry, and sugar may also need to be avoided, being somewhat high in purine. Alcohol, especially beer, is very high in purines and must also be avoided, unless you can compensate with drinking much water along with the beverages to keep acid from building up in your system. Replace these foods with fruits, berries, vegetables, whole grains, and especially wheat grass.

Chinese physicians have used mulberries to treat gout for centuries. The bioflavonoids in mulberries help remove uric acid from the blood stream and reduce the production of Urate crystals. One excellent supplement to help lower the impact of purine rich foods is Goutezol. The ingredients in Goutezol boost a persons immune system as well. Not only does this mulberry derived supplement defend against gout by blocking the absorption of purine, it lowers your risk of catching other illnesses as well.
