Using Herbal Weight Loss Pills Effectively!

When looking for alternatives to help you lose weight, be sure you spend time checking on herbal weight loss pills. Herbs are a natural way to supplement your body’s needs, instead of using concoctions from a laboratory. Herbs have been used by all civilizations since the dawn of time to help control diseases and meet the body’s needs. There are herbs that can assist in the weight loss plan you have chosen, and you will be excited about using them when you see the results on your scale!

Careful study should be given to find out the right herbs for your body. Just because some herbal weight loss pills say they will work for everyone doesn’t mean that it’s an accurate statement. Start in your local library. There you will find many books of what people have found to work for them. Choose a book that will tell you the benefits gained from using specific herbs so you will know how they are working and how you can best compliment them when pursuing your weight loss plan.

You will also need to decide how you want your herbs work in your body. Are you wanting an herbal weight loss pill to increase your metabolism? Or would you rather choose those herbs that curb your appetite? If you are unable to exercise easily, due to a large workload, disability or extreme weight, you may choose those herbs that increase your metabolism. However, if you have a hard time saying no to a delicious chocolate pie, you may want to choose the herbs that will help suppress your appetite. It’s always much easier to say “no” when you are already feeling stuffed.

When trying to lose weight, it is always easier to have the help and support of others. Especially since you are wanting to use herbal weight loss pills, you may want to seek out those that have already used them or have suggested their use to others. Look on the internet for a forum of people that use herbs to lose weight. You will be able to find out what has worked for them, and this may make your life easier, knowing that something has already shown to be successful. .

Are You Gaining Weight?

So was I.  I gained over 20 pounds in 3 months and didn't know what was going on.  My eating habit hadn't changed but I was tired and exhausted all the time.  I even suffered from depression. The depression was to the point I wanted to cry all the time. The depression was so bad until I made an appointment with my doctor. I had blood work done and even an MRI but no real problems was found except an increased prolactin level. My doctor suspected an underactive thyroid but the test result didn't show it.  Being a nurse I know the symptoms of hypothyroidism but never put it all together.  After researching it out, blood test does not always show abnormal TSH.

Your weight gain could be caused by an under active thyroid or hypothyroidism. It afflicts millions of people every year. It is a result of a decrease in the production of thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). The pituitary is the gland that produces this hormone. The thyroid regulates the metabolism which helps to control weight. Without TSH in inadequate amounts, weight gain occurs. Often hypothyroidism weight gain is overlooked or attributed to some other underlying ailment.

Although hypothyroidism is easy to treat, losing the weight is sometimes difficult. This is the problem I was having.  I had test work done which should a increased prolactin level but TSH was normal.  So I was not put on thyroid medication.  What I found to help bring my thyroid in balance was Thyromine.  Because of an underactive thyroid or sluggish thyroid, I was gaining weight uncontrollably. Thyromine has guglipid which is an ayruvedic medicine used to treat obesity,arthritis and lipid problems.

Gaining weight may not be your fault so don't be a victim. Get control over your weight, improve your thyroid function and start losing weight.  The holidays are around the corner.

Fast Weight Loss with Soy

In my never-ending quest for fast weight loss I decided to follow the advice from an article that I recently read in Woman's World magazine. This article is filled with interesting facts about the many benefits of soy protein. The publication said that subjects who took the soy challenge experienced fast weight loss so I thought that I would give it a try.

I have 10 pounds to lose. I should say that I had 10 pounds to lose. After just one week on the soy diet that number has dropped quite a bit. I wasn't really expecting very fast weight loss because I just have so much trouble getting that final 10 pounds off to get to my goal.

Two ladies in the article featured in Woman's World magazine each experienced fast weight loss. The first lost five pound in only a week while the other lost six pounds in the same seven days. This kind of fast weight loss is experienced by other women but not me.

The soy diet was just too appealing to pass up. The items were easy to spot in the store and I found that the cost was a little more than my usual foods but way less than a fast weight loss program like Jenny Craig. Actually, it was way, way less than a program like that.

After one week of following the simple soy program I found that I could fit into my clothes better. I had no idea how much I actually lost until I had my weekly weigh in on Friday morning. I was shocked to find that I had lost eight, yes eight pounds in seven days. That is more than a pound per day. I have never experience such fast weight loss in my life.

This says a lot because I have been on a lot of diets over the years. This soy diet is a wonder and I will never go on another program. I actually thought that I was doing something wrong on the plan because I was satisfied and never hungry. Cravings were not minimal. They were non-existent.

What really grabbed my attention in the article in Woman's World was that the soy products were used to fatten up cattle. After feeding the cattle for a period of time the livestock owners found that the cows weren't gaining. In fact they were leaner than ever. If a cow doesn't get fat on a program, you can bet that you will experience fast weight loss on it.
