Detoxify Or Die Questions Answered

Share

Lizzie asks…

Can i put water conditioner in plain tap water and put fish in it?

will they die if i don’t wait 3 weeks for the water to detoxify itself? or can i fill it up, put conditioner in, and put a convict in? without it dieing.
oh and i Live in the seattle area so the water is pretty good.

Chloe Adisson answers:

Yes.
What you should do is treat the tap water with prime, stress coat, amquel plus, Weco Instant DeChlor or any other conditioner that will make tap water safe for fish.
Your gonna need to remove chlorine, chloramine, and heavy metals that can be toxic to your fish.
I personally use and prefer weco instant dechlor since you only add to tiny drops per gallon and then stir it a little and then let it sit for 10 minutes and then Pour the treated tap water in your tank. The best part is the little ounce last about 1000 gallons and it was only 2.50 dollars at my local pet store.

Sandra asks…

What do I do if my goldfish has been poisoned by chlorine?

I just bought a new aquarium, goldfish, gravel, everything but forgot to add the thing that makes chlorine go away. He has only been exposed to the chlorine for at most 2 hours and I realized this when he stopped moving but he’s still breathing. I put him into a bowl of detoxified water and I’m trying to get him to recover. What can I do or is he already going to die from being exposed?
He survived.

Chloe Adisson answers:

First, before adding fish you should of cycled your tank. Since you already added your fish you must do a cycle with fish. Learn about the nitrogen cycle here: http://www.fishlore.com/NitrogenCycle.htm

The link above is very helpful. I would get water conditioner as soon as you can and add it to his tank. Then it should be more safe than before, although it isn’t cycled.

A common goldfish needs 75 gallons when fully grown, and a fancy goldfish needs 30 gallons with double filtration, (ex: 30 gallon tank, 60 gallon filter)

Good Luck, and Hope this Helps.

Ruth asks…

9 days till the wedding and I’ve broken out in a red rash!?

It’s 9 days until my brother’s wedding, and I’ve broken out in a rash of red dots all over my chest and neck. I thought they were pimples, so I tried using more acne medicine (I have oily, troublesome skin to begin with) and it just made it worse. I tried using only dove soap and aloe to give my skin so time to heal, it just got worse. I tried cucumbers, cortizone cream, every home remedy I could find online. I’ve even been drinking a gallon of water a day to try and detoxify my system. NO DICE!
I’m supposed to perform at the ceremony and my dress is strapless (and beautiful) but I’m ready to throw it away and wear a bag over my head.
Any tips on either getting the rash to lessen/disappear or any types of makeup that will cover it without making it worse?

Thanks!!

Chloe Adisson answers:

Use dermablend make up you can get it at ULTA

Mark asks…

any fruitarians around?

A friend sent this to me ~ Pretty Interesting!

Eating Fruit – this opened my eyes.

Dr Stephen Mak is a friend of mine at the BSF course. He treats terminal ill cancer patients by “un-orthodox” way and many patients recovered. He explains to me before he is using solar energy to clear the illnesses of his patients. He believes on healing in the body against illnesses. See the article below.

Thanks for the email on fruits and juices. It is one of the strategies to heal cancer. As of late, my success rate in curing cancer is about 80%. Cancer patients shouldn’t die. The cure for cancer is already found. It is whether you believe it or not. I am sorry for the hundreds of cancer patients who die under the conventional treatments.
Thanks and God bless.
Dr Stephen Mak

EATING FRUIT…

We all think eating fruits means just buying fruits, cutting it and just popping it into our mouths. It’s not as easy as you think. It’s important to know how and when to eat.

What is the correct way of eating fruits?

IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! * FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH.
If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight and other life activities.

FRUIT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT FOOD. Let’s say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil….

So please eat your fruits on an empty stomach or before your meals! You have heard people complaining — every time I eat watermelon I burp, when I eat durian my stomach bloats up, when I eat a banana I feel like running to the toilet, etc — actually all this will not arise if you eat the fruit on an empty stomach. The fruit mixes with the putrefying other food and produces gas and hence you will bloat!

Graying , balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.

There is no such thing as some fruits, like orange and lemon are acidic, because all fruits become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, , energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice – drink only fresh fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don’t even drink juice that has been heated up. Don’t eat cooked fruits because you don’t get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it. You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

KIWI: Tiny but mighty. This is a good source of potassium, magnesium, vitamin E & fiber. Its vitamin C content is twice that of an orange.

APPLE: An apple a day keeps the doctor away? Although an apple has a low vitamin C content, it has antioxidants & flavonoids which enhances the activity of vitamin C thereby helping to lower the risks of colon cancer, heart attack & stroke.

STRAWBERRY: Protective Fruit. Strawberries have the highest total antioxidant power among major fruits & protect the body from cancer-causing, blood vessel-clogging free radicals.

ORANGE : Sweetest medicine. Taking 2-4 oranges a day may keep colds away, lower cholesterol, prevent & dissolve kidney stones as well as lessens the risk of colon cancer.

WATERMELON: Coolest thirst quencher. Composed of 92% water, it is also packed with a giant dose of glutathione, which helps boost our immune system. They are also a key source of lycopene — the cancer fighting oxidant. Other nutrients found in watermelon are vitamin C & Potassium.

GUAVA & PAPAYA: Top awards for vitamin C. They are the clear winners for their high vitamin C content.. Guava is also rich in fiber, which helps prevent constipation. Papaya is rich in carotene; this is good for your eyes.

Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer! Can u believe this?? For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, the cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this ‘sludge’ reacts with the acid, it will break down

Chloe Adisson answers:

This sounds very suspicious. I do not disagree for a moment that fruit is very good stuff. However, much of the reasoning in this sounds a lot like pseudoscience and quackery.
Examples:

“Drinking Cold water after a meal = Cancer! Can u believe this??”
No. Frankly I am cannot. The causes of cancer are very complex and to make such simplistic statements is nonsensical.

“Graying hair, balding, nervous outburst, and dark circles under the eyes all these will NOT happen if you take fruits on an empty stomach.”
These are extremely large and general claims. Since they seem too good to be true, they probably are.

“If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight. ”
As for the last point. Note also that claims like ‘happiness’ and ‘health’ are very vague and would be difficult to prove anyway.

“If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.”
Why should it need to mix with the saliva? Why would that help? Saliva breaks down starch into sugar. It also begins the process of breaking down fats. Most fruits have insignificant starch and fat content. So, what would saliva do to be so beneficial.

I must say that I tend to eat fruit before eating anything else anyway. Not because of all this nonsense. Just because, while I am getting the water boiling for macaroni, toasting bread etc, I eat it as a snack. Will doing so magically ward off cancer? I doubt it.

Mandy asks…

Why are humans the only species that pollutes to the detriment of life? Can’t blame that on God can we?

Since all other life on this planet is unaware of wastes they create,…….then why is it never a detriment to earths ecological system?

It is a living mechanical circulatory system isn’t it? It shows there is an organized design of a Supreme Creator.

Most animals and fish contribute waste to their environments that are essentially the same as human waste (fecal matter laden with bacteria and reduced compounds). If the population of an environment exceeded the capability of the environment to neutralize or at least tolerate those wastes, certain organisms will begin to die. This limit is known as the “carrying capacity” of the environment. In general, nature is wise enough to not naturally reach this limit in most instances, such that most systems can self regulate themselves and avoid reaching this limit.
There are examples of individual organisms that can excrete specific pollutants or toxins into an environment, usually as a defense mechanism. There are also plenty of examples of organisms that can detoxify and store pollutants from an environment in their bodies, making the overall environment “safer” (until the organism dies, at which point some toxins can be re-released to the environment).

Chloe Adisson answers:

People always think they know best until they find out they have made a total mess of things. Then they still persist oftentimes. Selfishness and greed often cause these problems and the foolish thought that everything will sort itself out. A radical rethink is often what is needed and appropriate action to follow.

The LORD God has given us such a beautiful world yet so many do not value it until it’s too late.

Wigs Caps to Make You Look Young

Share

If you want to look , take care of your . is a vital component of a person’s style. It enhances facial structure and appearance. can be styled and fashioned in a variety of ways. Some hairstyles may make a person look young and vibrant. Older adults with long and straight appear younger and healthier. Those with thinning or receding hairlines vividly display signs of aging.

Hence, older adults purchase medicine and devices for hair restoration. There are several supplements that promise hair growth. They bring back nutrients and moisture on the scalp. On the other hand, hair restoration devices are artificial hair structures. These are wigs and hair replacement systems. Wigs can you look young and refreshed.

There are numerous types of wigs. The most common types are synthetic and human hair wigs. Human hair wigs appear more than synthetic ones. Nevertheless, the look of wigs depends on the arrangement of wig caps. Manufacturers arrange wig caps in two ways: wefts and hand-ties. Wefted caps are also known as capless wigs. Strands on wefted caps are woven by machines.

Wefted caps have a thick top. Hair strands are gathered and woven on the top of the cap. The sides of wefted caps have spaces. These spaces are called wefts. This exposes a portion of the hair and the scalp. Wig strands are compiled on the sides of the wefts. Wefted caps of specialized wigs like Forever Young wigs are durable and long-lasting. They can be continuously worn for three to six months. High-quality wefted caps can be worn for as long as four years.

Hand-tied caps have a skin monofilament top. Other hand-tied caps like Forever Young wigs have a polyester base. They look like natural human scalp. Strands are individually woven on the monofilament base. They are lighter, more comfortable, and more lifelike than wefted caps. There are three types of hand-tied caps: micro-skin, monofilament, and handmade top. Micro-skin tops cover the entire scalp. Their strands appear directly grown on the scalp. Micro-skin tops are also called “French tops” and “skin tops”.

On the other hand, monofilament and handmade tops of Forever Young wigs show a part of the scalp. Monofilament caps show the natural color of the scalp. Handmade tops allow the wearer to part hair strands. Through this, hair looks more natural.

How Natural Hair Loss Shampoos Can Help Stop Hair Loss

Share

New approaches to are available. loss is an unfortunate part of many people’s lives and there are increasing research in creating a loss cure. loss (alopecia) is often caused by circulating hormones in the body that can cause reduced blood flow, nutrient absorption, and thinning follicles.

There will be a time when we look in the mirror and the character looking back is displaying symptoms of losing that dazzling full layer upon layer of hair that developed into a considerable ingredient of our identity. The initial response will be astonishment perhaps followed by some exploration of possible ways to isolate the potential reasons for the .

The majority of experts in the discipline of balding suggest that a blood test or scalp biopsy should be done to determine if underlying circumstances such as elevated blood pressure, diabetes, lupus or any other medical conditions are the cause.

The scalp biopsy will make known the dimension of the hair follicles when viewed beneath a microscope. Dwindling hair follicles are a significant clue in reducing the possible reasons for hair loss. The leading possible cause being androgenetic alopecia.

Androgenetic alopecia, popularly referred to as male and female pattern balding, is the hair loss source for an astounding nine out of ten situations. Its final consequence is to put an end to hair follicles making new growth unfeasible without some kind of interference.

In men the model of balding is very identifiable with hair loss frequently starting at the forehead or on upper part of the head in the direction of the back. A slight case of male pattern balding in males is established by a minor bald spot that appears on the crown with a retreating hair line. Radical cases are acknowledged by all of the hair on the upper part of the head being lost with a little hair being retained on the sides and back of the head.

For women, it is a completely different scenario due to dihydrotestosterone concentrations in the hair cell and ranges in scalp enzyme and hormone patterning. For the majority of women, hair loss starts on the uppermost part of the head and is typically a thinning of the hair as opposed to a total loss of hair. The hairline is usually not affected.

Undoubtedly the reasons for hair loss are wide ranging. However, the preponderance of continuing and progressing cases is diagnosed to be male or female pattern baldness. There are presently a small amount of hair re-growth products available which have been confirmed successful in both blocking destructive hormones and bringing the vital dead hair follicles back to life. To learn more about natural hair loss treatment and prevention Zenagen website is a patent-pending natural hair loss shampoo website and information.

These types of products may be used in cooperation as a preventative tool, if used early and prior to acute hair loss, or subsequent to noticeable loss of hair. Whatever the stage of balding or thinning you are experiencing specific products may perhaps be required to defeat this latest challenge.

In androgenetic alopecia, the genes influence how the hair grows. They activate an indifference to a class of hormones called androgens such as testosterone and the related hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) which reduces the hair follicles. Decreasing follicles create thinner hair and ultimately none at all.

Consequently, androgenetic alopecia is the result of the body’s decrease of producing new hairs and not due to extreme hair loss. Heredity also plays a part in the age at which you start to lose hair as well as the rate, pattern and degree of your baldness.

Anemia And Hair Loss

Share

When we get older, a certain degree of is considered normal, especially if the trait runs in the family. However, if strikes at a age, it is most likely caused by an underlying medical problem.

in children is rare except of course if they’re being treated with chemo but it does occur and also runs in the family. But if you don’t have any history of loss at a young age then it might have an associated deficiency or illness.

Anaemia is seen in children mostly due to lack of intake of important vitamins and minerals and one of its major symptoms is hair loss. Anaemia triggers a type of hair loss called telogen effluvium. Telogen effluvium is condition where all hair is forced to the telogen (resting) stage of the normal hair growth cycle. The telogen stage is the stage where hair is shed off. Normally, this stage consist only 10% of the hair growth cycle compared to the anagen (growth) stage which is 90%. For some reason all hair are reverted to telogen stage causing massive hair loss.

Anaemia in children is usually caused by iron deficiency anaemia or pernicious anaemia. The former is due to decreased iron reserves in the body. The latter is due to lack of vitamin B12 or folic acid though this kind of anaemia is more common among adults because of absorption problems. In children, pernicious anaemia is simply to decrease intake of folic acid.

Giving your child the right types of food plus vitamins and minerals can improve anaemia dramatically. With proper nutrition, you will also notice lesser hair fall within a few months. Eventually, hair will resume its normal growth pattern.

To grow hair faster, FAST Shampoo and FAST Conditioner is specially formulated for slow growing hair. FAST or Fortified Amino Scalp Therapy is made of a special blend of herbs, B Vitamins, plus amino acids. This will make your child’s hair grow up to 45% faster, with no adverse effects.

Health | Ayurvedic Medicine For Mind And Body – Knowing Your Prakriti

Share

It means “science of life” and it has been practiced in India for more than 5,000 years. Ayurvedic medicine is one of the oldest and most revered forms of holistic healing, and people respond to it because it involves only therapies, its approach is a highly individualized one, and it combines work on both mind and body. What’s not to like?

Behind the Science

The reason many people lean toward Ayurvedic medicine is because it’s highly personalized. Unlike many other forms of traditional or conventional medicine, it practices on the assumption that everyone is different, and that we all respond differently to specific treatments.

Each session is geared towards an individual’s prakritii, or Ayurvedic constitution. That means that a myriad of things are taken into account, including exercise habits, nutrition, body type, and even – wait for it – personal hygiene (so take a shower before you go).

During a consultation with an Ayurvedic practitioner, each individual will be given his or her daily routines to follow, called dincharya, as well as specially formulated seasonal routines, called ritucharya. The trained practitioner assesses all aspects of your mental, emotional and physical well-being during a visit to him or her. He or she will concentrate on three things, including:

1. Darshan (observation): Looking at all aspects of the real you, including how you look, the condition in which your skin, and nails are in, the contour and shape of your body, your eyes.

2. Sparsha (touch): Touching you, including pressing down on specific parts of your body to ascertain specific noises your body makes (so avoid eating baked beans beforehand). They will also look at your tongue and nails, take your pulse and listen to you talk.

3. Prashna (questions): Asking about your mental, emotional and physiological .

A diagnosis is made after the practitioner discovers all he or she can about an individual. They then will prescribe a which relies on the body healing itself, by strengthening the healthy elements in the body and healing harness the body’s energy to heal.

Types of Treatments

Ayurvedic medicine uses a wide base to draw on in prescribing treatments. They range from massage to diet modification, and the five main types include:

1. Shirodhara (medicated oil). This makes use of the traditional third eye in the middle of the forehead. A special medicated oil is poured over the area in an attempt to cure diseases such as sinusitis, memory and insomnia. Is also used a way to induce natural, deep relaxation.

2. Nutrition. Goes back to the idea that poor nutrition is the cause of illness, so uses food as a way to make us better. It has succeeded where others have failed because the approach is highly individualistic, but depends on the full participation of the individual for positive effect. It is claimed that by following it to the letter that people can embrace longevity without resorting to using any medication whatsoever in their lives.

3. Panchakarma (detox). A five-action cleansing program that seeks to purify the body and bring the body back to its natural healthy state. Many practitioners prescribe a series of treatments designed to rid the tissues in the body of all unhealthy toxins. Programs vary, but they can include consultation, massage, herbal sweat therapy, special diet and nutrition advice, herbal teas and rejuvenatives, exercise and lifestyle advice.

4. Massage. Aims to provide relaxation, improve circulation and get rid of toxins at the same time. Uses specific pressure points which are a bit like those used in reflexology. Sometimes special purification treatments are used as well. Interestingly, babies are often massaged using a specially baked dough ball dipped in massage oil that is right for them.

5. Herbs. Different herbs are used to treat different conditions.

Is Ayurvedic Medicine Safe?

Ayurvedic medicine is usually considered safe if used in tandem with conventional medicine, not when is used instead of conventional medicine. While it has become more and more popular in the West, it is interesting to note that more and more Indians are turning their backs on it and turning to traditional forms of medicine instead.

However, there have been concerns over the safety of some herbs which are used in Ayurvedic medicine, as they have been found to have been adulterated with toxic metals. The Indian government has said they must contain a written warning on the label, but they often don’t.

That aside, there is obviously a huge question mark over whether or not Ayurvedic medicine really works. While some of the herbs used, such as cumin, have been found to have beneficial properties, others have none at all. Still, there is no doubt that massage, good nutrition, mediation and the occasional detox can all our health.

So, the verdict is yours. And what Ayurveda does to you would depend solely on how aware you are about all the issues involved and take care so that you know what you’re doing.
