Detoxify Your Body Questions Answered

Share

Helen asks…

will cleansing/detoxify your body give you lighter ?

if you cleanse/detoxify your body, would that help you get lighter skin?

Chloe Adisson answers:

No it will not in all honesty.
It will only clear your intestines, and give you a healthier colon.

If you want to get lighter skin, it may or may not be possible because of your natural pigmentation of skin tone.

Go talk to a dermatologist, and see what they can do for you.

Mandy asks…

What are some natural ways to detoxify your body?

I smoked a cigarette and I want to rid my body of the toxins as good as possible. Any suggestions?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Yes, just leave your body to clean itself and keep up a healthy diet.

Anyone who tells you that ‘detox’ is real is a scammer who is insulting your intelligence.

Sandy asks…

Has anyone ever used Niacin to detoxify your body?

I heard Niacin is used to detoxify all the toxins that you have ingested, consumed and or inhaled. Has anyone used this product to clean your system and did it work? I have heard this works for people who gets migranes. Has anyone lost weight using this product? How do you know if the toxins are cleaned out of your system? What have people used this for and where the results what you expected?
Thanks to all the post and to the mom the nurse, we breath, consume and injest toxins from the air we breath, the foods we eat that have streoids and other additives, second hand smoke, ect…. and as a nurse you should know that. Thanks you Tony T for the web page. Doomjockey and Amy Scrubs thanks for your input also.

Chloe Adisson answers:

Although Niacin, Vitamin B3 is used to help folks with high cholesterol, it has to be very carefully monitored and adjusted. In high doses it has some very unsavory side effects, such as skin rashes and heart arrythmias. If it gets bad enough, it can even cause liver failure. There have been scientific studies done on it’s ability to “flush” a system but they haven’t found any benefit. What they have found is that in the normal person the side effects and toxicity prove far more dangerous than any benefit they might have. For the average person there are no toxins that you need concern yourself with trying to remove, and really none you can remove with things available for sale. The digestive system is a self cleaning system, set up to absorb nutrients from what you’ve eaten. It doesn’t allow things to flow into the system from the other direction. The job of waste removal from the blood falls to the liver and kidneys, which is where any intake of B3 would be dealt with. They would try to remove the excess amounts you took, and in the process likely get overloaded, causing the side effects I mentioned. It’s not a good idea to overload them either, since permanent damage is nearly impossible to fix. In cases where somebody has actually gotten a toxic substance into the body, there are methods to attempt to leach it out, using forms of chemotherapy to do it. It’s not easy, and it comes with risks all it’s own. And finally, there is a portion of the population that is somewhat allergic to the supplemental forms, and their reactions to large doses are really not good. It can make you go blind, even kill you. As a health regimen, taking more than the 100% recommended allowance isn’t just not sensible, it’s dangerous. You can’t clean your system, and more to the point, you don’t need to. Do it the old fashioned way, eat right, drink plenty of fluids, and exercise. Your body is designed to function quite well if you do these things, and without any other assistance from you. People live quite well without ever even trying to clean out their insides, and some of those who have tried have died due to their efforts to meddle. Do yourself a favor, don’t waste you money on the supplements like this. Just buy good to eat,and trust your body knows what it needs to do.

Joseph asks…

Can you detoxify your body from radiation?

If you are exposed to radiation, is there anyway you can take it out of your body?:/
Sorry if my question is stupid, but I am really worried and I want to know.

Chloe Adisson answers:

The damage is done upon exposure. Think in terms of a microwave oven. You “cook” from the inside out. The only people at serious risk of exposure in japan are the workers who are voluntarily going into the contaminated site to hold things together. You,ll get way more radiation from a ct scan than from the broken reactor.

Maria asks…

what are some simple home remedies to detoxify your body?

are there any home remedies like a body wrap that is simple to do at home or any other kind of remedies i can try at home to lose inches in a day?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Lots of fiber and super milk thistle for your liver. Also, HOT baths and yoga. Don’t forget to drink lots of water, 64oz per day (or your body weight divided in half = the oz of water you should drink in a day).

Detoxify Your Body Questions Answered

Share

Sharon asks…

What is a good way to cheaply detoxify your body?

A lot of health stores sell liver cleansing and colon cleaning regiments…. but is there a cheaper way of detoxifying your body?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Try a 1-3 day juice fast, drink only unsweetened natural fruit and vegetable juices along with plenty of water. Add a little salt especially if you are sweating a lot. Moderate exercise is ok but don’t overexert yourself.

If you feel like you need extra colon cleansing then include prune juice, but be prepared to spend a lot of time in the bathroom getting “cleansed” :)

George asks…

How do you detoxify your body at home?

How do you free your body of all toxins and poisons at home? Does drinking nothing but water and sitting in a sauna do it?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Karl, it sounds like you have fallen victim to dodgy marketing in dodgy ‘natural health’ magazines or websites. There is a good reason why this stuff is only promoted by non-medical sources – because its mostly baloney.

‘Detox’ has no meaning outside of the clinical treatment of drug addiction or poisoning. Our bodies have evolved to get rid of unwanted substances very efficiently via the liver and kidneys; this function is not something you can improve upon with alternative medicine products, special diets, fasting or saunas. There is no plausibility or evidence to support the claims of alt med ‘detox’ proponents. If you truly have poisonous levels of toxins accumulated in your body, then you would be extremely ill and need a hospital.

At the end of the day, ‘detox’ as promoted in alternative medicine, is both a fad and a scam. Just because you may see ‘detox’ products in pharmacies it doesn’t mean they are valid; pharmacy chains in general don’t care, they are after profits.

Lizzie asks…

What is the safest way to clean/detoxify your body?

I’ve seen infomercials for system cleanses and I was wondering if anybody knows how you can clean out your body/digestive tract naturally? If not, then what is the best way to do it?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Just do a plain non fat yogurt and water for a couple days thats wat i do to cleanse when i am not feeling too good or need to drop a couple pounds but i dont know how good it cleans the digestive track

James asks…

How do those foot detox pads work? And do they actually detoxify your body of harmful stuff?

What is that black junk that appears on the foot pads after wearing them overnight? Is that just dirt from the bottom of your feet or is it some chemical reaction that appears on the surface of the pad so it appears as if it came from your body?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Its junk. The reason they turn black is becuase a mixture of vingar and salts are inside of them and it reacts to the oils in your body.

They are a waste of money, look them up on MSN webpage, they did a study of them.

Maria asks…

Is niacin plus a lot of Water and Cranberry Juice enough to Detoxify your body?

If I start taking 100 mg(or a higher doesage) of niacin plus start drinking ALOT of Cranberry jucie and water for around 1 week enough to cleanse your body of THC. I AM trying to pass drug tests but I have approxiamtley 1 week or more before i am tested.

Chloe Adisson answers:

No, it will not help to clean THC out of your system and aside from the water, that’s not going to detox at all.
Niacin is a simple B vitamin that gives a “flushing effect” to your … Not to your body. It makes your turn red (it makes your flush) because it helps with circulation. It won’t burn your intestines (unless you’re highly allergic to it), especially in that low of a dose… But it might turn your bright red.
Cranberry juice just helps to make your urine a bit more acidic so it can help to cleanse out a Urinary Tract Infection… It doesn’t specifically detox your body.

Nancy asks…

Is Lily of the Desert ?

I know it’s a dietary supplument and all..
But it’s 99.5% aloe vera..
Anybody know if this will help acne or make it worse?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Most of the commercial Aloe Vera products are so diluted that they are of little use to the body. Acne is primarily due to dysbiosis of the intestines and that is due to bad digestion that is rampant in the U.S. Today. The skin acts like a 3rd kidney and when you get lots of toxins building up in the intestines, you get the booby prize. It typically starts from your mom being very nutrient deficient in pregnancy and overloaded with toxins like mercury from her amalgam fillings that she passes onto the fetus through her umbilical cord to you and you end up toxic as a result and nutritionally deficient. If she doesn’t breast feed, you don’t get good immunity and then you get the VACCINATIONS that pollute your blood to the point where you simply don’t have a chance to build good immunity.

Now, you take an antibiotic to “kill the germs” (thank you doctor) and this kills the good bacteria in your intestines that make up 75% of your immune system you have already not developed well. You get the booby prize of getting ACNE. Then biofilms are produced that keep you from really getting rid of the acne and you use those typical topical creams and lotions that help control it somewhat, but they just keep coming back.

Acne is just one of many things the average American will suffer from as they age due to the garbage being eaten and the bad advice from the so called “experts” that have no clue what they are talking about. Meanwhile, you suffer, believing those guys know what they are talking about.

The highest quality Aloe Vera product you can buy is called, “Aloe Arborescense.” This product is concentrated and contains other things that will clean up ALL the mucus membranes in the body like nothing else. It really works. But you also need to fix your diet, take the Aloe, and go after those biofilms with some very special herbs.

Good luck to you

John asks…

Does using Aloe Vera Gel help acne?

I am using Hawaiian Tropic Aloe Vera gel for acne on my face. What do you think?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Aloe Vera Gel has been used for centuries both the skin and other ailments.

Aloe Vera consists of ingredients such as gibbenelin and polysaccharides, that stimulate the skin and help with healing acne affected areas.

There are Acne-Aloe-Vera solutions that can help with healing and further prevention of affecting both adults and teens. Aloe Vera treatments may be used topically to restore skin that has become inflammed and have been proven to help those afflicated with improve their condition and promote healing of scar tissue formed by excessive swelling. Scar tissue left on the face or upper body can be improved by use of Aloe Vera gel.

Detoxifying Questions Answered

Share

Lizzie asks…

detoxifying?

Can you really lose weight by detoxifying your body? What do you do in order to detoxify?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Short answer, yes you can but it is absolutely NOT the point of detox to lose weight. All the weight you “lose” will come back on, and quickly at that since it is water weight. Focus on eating less of the bad stuff and more of the good and you will achieve both. Detoxing to lose weight is dangerous and ineffective, please don’t do it. If you want to detox for health or spiritual reasons, there is a huge amount of information available for you to read. Please also seek the help of someone in the medical or alternative medicine field.

Ruth asks…

Detoxifying.?

I am interested in detoxifying my body. How do I go about to do this? Is there any meds I should take?

Chloe Adisson answers:

A full detox will take about 30 days. You need to detox the liver, colon, blood, and lymph system. The most non-invasive way is with herbs. I recommend this because general detox kits over the counter contain synthetic chemicals that re-introduce poisons to your system. When detoxing you will feel really bad about 4-5 days into the detox. This is normal and it shows that the toxins are breaking free and being flushed from your body. You will feel progressively better from that point on. Drink plenty of water! This helps flush the debris.

Laura asks…

How do I make a detoxifying pedicure at home?

My ankles and feet are puffy and I know it’s because I’m wearing yucky flip flops and going barefoot since the weather turned warm. How can I make a detoxifying foot bath/pedicure soak at home?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Aloe Vera. Or maybe cucumber.

Sandy asks…

What should I do to take care of my after a detoxifying mask?

I just used a detoxifying mask on my face and I want to know what I should do to take care of my skin after using it. I have used it before (once a week for 5 weeks now). And it’s pretty good at getting out blackheads (or at least making them less visible) and I want to try to keep them away.

Thank you!

Chloe Adisson answers:

My first question is what brand of mask was it? What are the active ingredients and purpose of the mask?

What kind of skin do you have? Always use a toner immediately after cleansing your face. The toner brings your skin’s PH balance back. The acid mantel on your skin takes 20 minutes to rebuild and during that time, any bacteria can enter your pores and cause an infection. This can cause and blackheads. The acid mantel is a barrier on your skin to protect against harmful bacteria. The toner helps rebuild this. So cleanse twice daily, use toner immediately after and always use an SPF and moisturizer.

Do you see an Esthetician for facials? It’s best to leave extractions to a professional who has the correct knowledge and tools to do this. You of course can do them at home if you know what you’re doing. If you do not know how to extract the blackheads, you can scar your skin.

At home regimens with masks is a great thing to do but only if you have minor amounts of blackheads. If you have excessive blackheads, it’s best to see an Esthetician for facials and product. The massage portion of the facials also helps with blood circulation to your skin which is helpful with blackheads and pimples.

Exfoliating is another important step during a facial. Here are the steps of a basic facial:

#1 cleanse
#2 tone
#3 exfoliate
#4 tone
#5 dis incrustation—product used to liquify the sebum (oil) glands to prepare for extractions (popping pimples and blackheads)
#6 steam with warm towels or steam (opens the pores)
#7 perform extractions
#8 tone
#9 facial massage
#10 tone
#11 hydrating mask
#12 tone
#13 SPF and moisturize

I hope this helps you. If you cannot afford to see an Esthetician for a facial, check into Esthetics schools in your area. They are normally in conjunction with Cosmetology schools. The facials are significantly cheaper. :-)

Mary asks…

Is there any good recipe for a detoxifying drink that you can make at home?

Any recipes for a detoxifying drink (that works) that doesn’t taste like crap? Anything without ginger in it? Is there any tea I can drink?

P.S. No half-ass answers please

Chloe Adisson answers:

Yes. Boil water, and squeeze lemon juice in it, wait for it to cool down and drink it. Drink it while its still hot.

is one of the primary concerns of many individuals and the products that satiate these people are among some of the most successful in the world. Product to care for the is a booming business as more and more people are growing to understand what certain products do and what the advantages of them are. While it may seem like a relatively simple subject, caring for the is actually very complex. To get the full advantage from a good regimen, you need to first make a good regimen. This should include many things, focused on what you want to beat most. For the majority of people, it’s the effects of aging.

Products That Prevent The Effects Of Aging

There are very specific products that prevent the effects of aging. Primarily, it’s the ingredients in each item, as some are more focused towards prevention than others. The main reason for the effects of aging is due to the free radicals that go on throughout the body. Essentially, the cells oxidize and wear down, leaving the skin looking worn, less elastic and generally older. To prevent this, we need to fill the body with anti-oxidants.

One of the favorite ways of reducing is by utilizing collagen. It comes in many different products and is usually explicitly advertised as a selling feature. Collagen effectively ‘fills’ and plumps out the skin, giving a more youthful image. Finding a product that mixes both collagens and anti-oxidants is probably the most effective way to reduce the effects of aging.

Natural Products

Exfoliants are products that remove old skin so new skin can come through. There are many methods from acidic face peels to simply scrubbing, but all work to some extent. As the new skin comes through, it will provide a more youthful look. Combined with Green Tea, nature’s provider of anti-oxidants, you can create an all-natural regimen, which is great for those who are a little too sensitive to certain care products. Alternatives are available all over the place, you just need to do a little research to find out what works for you.

Choosing natural skin care products is a sure way to improve the health and beauty of your skin. You can learn more about reducing the signs of skin aging by visiting the website at http://www.4youngskin.com/drCohen .

Simple Facial Care Strategies You Need To Execute Today

Share

“Combination” simply means that a person has both oily and either dry or normal . Genetic and hormonal causes are responsible for the promotion of excess activity in some sebaceous glands in the , leading to what is known as combination . Oily T-zone has been widely observed in people with combination . The forehead, nose and chin come under the T-zone. Care for combination necessitates a marginally variant regimen compared to oily or dry

$35 billion dollars are spent in the US each year on make up and . There is at least one chemical that links to cancer in 33 percent of these products. You do not necessarily need to buy expensive cosmetics, in order to take care of your combination skin. You will have no problems managing your combination skin if you have a couple of natural remedies up your sleeve.

Purify your skin the natural way simply by employing fruits and vegetables from the produce section of your supermarket, or perhaps using organic skincare products. Raw honey is a good cleansing tool for a combination of skin types. Of all the various forms of honey, raw honey is the most natural one. Honey has good therapeutic values especially for skin as it can soften dry patches and help keep them moisturised.

Not only is honey relaxing and soothes the skin but also provides minerals, vitamins and antioxidants in abundance. Because honey works as an antiseptic, it can fight bacteria on your skin which in turn should alleviate some of the found on the oily portion of you combination skin.

No matter what sort of skin care routine you have, it should include using a skin toner. It is particularly essential in the combination skin type, since it maintains the skin balance The advantages of using a toner lie in the fact that it removes the residue of the cleanser from your face while simultaneously removing the excess oiliness from the oily areas of the face as well as gently moisturizing the dry parts. You can make a very effective natural toner if you have combination skin out of cucumbers and distilled water.

Rose water as well as some of the other hydrosols can serve as an amazing natural toner for a mix of skin tones. If you have combination skin you may find that something astringent like lemon juice is too strong for you to use as a toner. Astringents remove skin oil; however, in some cases, the skin’s oil glands compensate by making even more oil.

If you desire to moisturize your combination skin type in a natural way, then glycerin is a great option. Combine four measurements of distilled water for every one measurement of glycerin and use your fingers to rub it into the skin lightly. In wintry months, supplementing moisturizer with just a little oil could help keep the dry patches of the skin hydrated. Try out various kinds of oils. Every oil will differ in both consistency and fragrance.

Natural products on the market contain sunscreen, though glycerin by itself is not one. This kind of sunblock product mostly contains zinc oxide or titanium oxide in place of chemical components. Take a look at available resources for sunscreen items that are natural.

Reviews Of Revitol There is really nothing like a best skin care product. For best results, apply moisturiser while your skin is still damp. You get more respect from others.

How To Know If Your Hcg Weight Loss Drops Are The Real Thing

Share

Every day, hundreds of thousands of people around the globe use HCG drops for weight loss. To date, the number of success stories associated with HCG drops is far greater than the few failures. Up to 10 pounds can be lost during the first week of the HCG diet, according to dieters on the regimen; after that, the weight loss is about 1-2 pounds a day. Moreover, a high percentage of these dieters have kept the pounds off up to a year after starting the program.

People who aren’t seeing this type of weight loss with HCG drops are failing for two reasons. Either they have been using fake HCG drops or they weren’t able to follow the strict HCG diet regimen.

Developed by Dr. A.T.W. Simeons, the HCG diet requires dieters to eat specific types of and keep portions to minimum. This approach is combined with the HCG to cause fat to be released from abnormal fat in the body. There are other restrictions in the HCG diet, such as the elimination of personal care products such as creams or lotions, which contain oils that are easily absorbed by the .

HCG weight loss drops can be bought online, but before you do any ordering, you should research the companies that you’re thinking about dealing with. You should be wary if the price seems exceptionally low. Or, if the HCG drops are priced at more than $50 an ounce, look somewhere else. Another red flag should appear when companies want to sell their regimen in doses of 30 drops a day – the required dose is 60 drops.

HCG that is made in the U.S. will be a regulated product, so it’s best not to buy the drops outside of the country. In the U.S. all supplements and drugs are required to be made in pharmaceutical labs registered by the FDA. Manufacturers of homeopathic products need to be in compliance with the Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States (HPUS).

There are also HCG injections, but the weight drops are currently much more popular. The drops don’t require a prescription and are equally as effective, and the cost is much less than prescription weight loss products. And of course, the majority of people don’t want to bother with incomfortable daily injections, which makes the drops so much more practical.
