What is best for acne, Homeopathy or Medicines?

Share

Question by Florence: What is for , Homeopathy or ?
Obviously is no cure for clearer skin, but what is most effective out of Medicines (creams, pills etc..) or Homeopathy?
It seems that might work better, but do stubborn spots need stronger chemicals from ?

:

Answer by ?iluvL.A.86? Lets all go GREEN!
It depends. If you want something that is healthier for your body, use a homeopathy remedy. However, with a homeopathic remedy, the dosage is higher. For example, one remedy which comes in a bottle from A Vitamin Shoppe requires 4 doses a day. A such as Differin only requires one or maybe 2 doses a day but you should use with an oil free moisturizing lotion.

Is there any medicine in homeopathy to eradicate (kill) Helicobacter pylori?

Share

Question by ganybhat: Is any in to eradicate () Helicobacter ?
I have acidity and stomach ulcer caused due to h pylori. Is there any for that?
Please tell me only Homeopathy .

answer:

Answer by Paradise Regained
Consume more of licorice in your diet.

Licorice has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to reduce inflammation in the stomach.
Add more of bananas in your diet routine as bananas will help to soothe your stomach.
Incorporate high fiber content foods in your diet as fibers will improve digestion, which will eventually prevent formation of ulcers.

25 to 50 mg of zinc consumed daily can help in healing.
Vitamin A is the most essential vitamin that supports the stomach lining and reduces inflammation.
herbs such as slipper elm and golden seal root aids in fighting bacteria and reducing inflammation.
Eliminate . Avoid foods such as fried foods, processed foods and junk foods as these trigger formation of stomach ulcers.
Try doing physical and mental exercise through yoga, meditation and relaxation techniques.
Acupuncture, meditation and massage can also help in curing ulcers.
Avoid smoking as this will exacerbate the condition.
Say no to alcohol and if can’t completely leave then at least limit your consumption. If you drink excessive amount of alcohol, it may result in reduced healing and can also worsen the symptoms of peptic ulcer.

Remedies
There is no data available to support their use. It seems that if homeopathic remedies worked, the makers would perform clinical trials to prove it and then have them widely available under prescription. Since most if not all manufacturers of homeopathic and naturopathic remedies for H.pylori have not conducted requisite clinical trials ( which are very expensive to conduct) then we can assume that the manufacturers don’t really believe that their remedies work at all! So be vary of such remedies.

We recommend that you take the real medically proven therapies described above. Interestingly, some compounds used as natural therapies do suppress (but not cure) Helicobacter pylori . An example is lactobacilli found in yoghurt)!

Basically, HP is tough to eradicate if you don’t do it “by the book”.

That’s what the foundation said but Homeopathic Nux Vomica : take a 30C potency, 3/day could help..

If you do wanna go for a natural antibiotic I would suggest colloidal silver..

Do you believe in or for serious illnesses such as Cancer? Do you believe in any “alternative” treatments for illnesses? Is conventional health care the ONLY way to treat our bodies?

Answer by Skipweasel
Such practitioners either switch to conventional when they get ill, or they die in confusion and denial.

With luck the NHS in Britain will soon wash its hands of anything to do with such quackery.

Does anyone know the exact homeopathic medicine for preventing gray hair?

Share

Question by : Does know the for ?
Graying of hair is hereditary on my father’s side. Though I am 25 now and no white hair has sprung up, but I want to take the homeopathic medicine for precaution. If someone knows the exact medicine and the dosage, could you please state the same.
Please don’t give other home , I have known and tried a lot of them including curry leaves and amla mixed in coconut oil. Thanks.

answer:

Answer by Head This Way
The sebaceous gland produces sebum which provides nourishment and luster to the hair. The basic nutrition for the hair has to come through the blood stream, which means that you have to eat right if you want your hair to be in good condition. The graying of hair could be due to a lack of vitamins, a faulty diet, anxiety and stress. It can be attributed to a lack of vitamin B, iron, copper, and iodine in the diet. Stress and worries can interfere with the supply of essential elements needed for the hair to grow. It can also be due to heredity, an unclean scalp, or a mix up in the hormones.

What are the remedies? In spite of the various reasons for the graying of hair, it is heartening to know that home remedies will help regain normal hair. Indian goose berry is considered the most efficient remedy in preventing or repairing graying hair due to its high content of vitamin C. Cut the fruit and dry it in the shade for 10-15 days. These pieces can be boiled in coconut oil until a dark residue remains. You can use this oil to massage your scalp. This oil will nourish your scalp and invigorate hair growth. Warm a little oil everyday and use it to massage your head. You can eat one or two gooseberries everyday to enrich your body for the nutrients to reach the blood stream and hence the scalp.

You can use curry leaves and prepare a herbal oil similarly. Curry leaves are rich sources of iron and vitamins. You can include curry leaves in your diet in the form of chutneys or add it to butter milk. This helps to prevent further graying of hair. You can also try to make oil from ribbed gourd in the similar way by drying it in shade and heating it in coconut oil. This oil will nourish the hair roots and restore the normal hair. You can also break open a vitamin E capsule in the oil. This will nourish and give you healthy hair. Another remedy you can try is to apply butter made of cow’s milk on your scalp. As the nutrients for hair should also be supplied through the blood stream, you should also include butter in your meals. You can also eat a cup of yogurt before meals to help hair grow better.

Use a good quality shampoo with Indian gooseberry, and lemon as its ingredients. For silky and strong hair you can try a mix of 1tsp of fenugreek seed powder in yogurt, apply it on your hair, and wash after half an hour. This will condition and nourish your hair. In addition, eat a well balanced diet with greens, vegetables, fruits, nut, and dairy products. Proteins and calcium are essential for strong and lustrous hair. Brush your hair well to increase blood circulation. Smile your worries and stress away and see your hair grow.

Q&A: Homeopathic medicine and natural remedies are so popular because of what?

Share

Question by : Homeopathic and are so of what?
Homeopathic medicine and are so popular because of what?

A) strong clinical research supports their role in modern medicine.
B) the placebo effect helps these treatments appear to be effective.
C) they do not produce any side effects or drug interactions.
D) all of the above.

Thanks.

answer:

Answer by Patrick M
“B” would be the most correct answer in this case, though it isn’t fair to categorize all natural remedies as ineffective.

“A” is not true. is no evidence that have any efficacy whatsoever. The theory behind (and I’m using their own definition) is that you work on the principle of opposites, i.e. if someone has a fever, you give him or her a medicine that would induce a fever, but in tiny amounts. However, the doses involved in are EXTREMELY minute. It involves starting with a tiny dose of a known medication (plant extracts or other chemical substances) then repeated dilutions with distilled water until it is diluted BILLIONS to one, i.e. may be only a few molecules (if any) of the original substance in the liquid. This is essentially distilled water without anything else. The theory is again that the medication “imprints” the water with it’s essence, which is highly implausible from any scientific standpoint. It is not particularly fair to say that all natural remedies are in this same category. Some natural remedies have definite pharmacological properties, in fact many current medications were derived from “natural” sources such as quinine (from a tree bark).

“C” is also not true, some natural remedies may be effective BECAUSE they contain substance which have a pharmacological basis AND they may react with other drugs with adverse events.

“D” is false because “A” & “C” are false.

What qualifications will I need to do homeopathy?

Share

Question by AngelicFruitcake?: What will I to do homeopathy?
I’m interested in doing homeopathy or in future, what qualifications would I need to do this though? A levels? A degree? Thank you!

answer:

Answer by Joy
Hi, Jessee

Unfortunately, you do not say what country you live in (or hope to work in).

The requirements differ from country to country (and in some instances from state to state). It might be best to ask the question again.

One thing I can say, however, you do not need to limit yourself to one treatment approach. Consider combining the two.

Do a and a . diet/nutritional and well together.

All best wishes to you for the future.
