Chloe Adisson answers:

The website you mentioned is an awesome site. I can’t think of any more information that you might need.

My own personal experiences with aloe vera juice has been great. It has cleared up my IBS symptoms, helped me to lose weight and has healed my stomach ulcers.

Store bought aloe juice is not as potent as making your own, so I would suggest to review the site you mentioned a learn how to juice the plant yourself.

Another good site is http://www.aloeandyou.com

Here are just a few more tips that you might like:

Here is a list of the top ten benefits of drinking aloe vera juice:

1. Detox

With our stressful lives, the pollution around us and the junk foods we eat, we need to detox and cleanse our systems. Drinking aloe vera juice provides a rich cocktail of vitamins, minerals and trace elements to help our bodies deal with everyday stresses.

2. Natural Immune Support

Aloe vera is full of anti-oxidants – natural immune enhancers which fight free radicals within our body. Free radicals are thought to cause various ailments, as well as speeding up the ageing process. Drinking aloe vera juice regularly gives the body a continual supply of anti-oxidants, which may boost and enhance the immune system.

3. Healthy Digestion and Digestive Problems

A healthy digestive tract ensures that nutrients from the foods we eat are absorbed fully into our bloodstream. Aloe vera juice has natural detoxifying abilities. Drinking aloe vera juice seems to improve bowel regularity and increases protein absorption, while at the same time decrease unfriendly bacteria and yeast – all naturally. Aloe vera has shown it can help reduce and soothe heartburn and other digestive upsets.

4. Reduces Inflammation

Aloe vera juice contains 12 substances which can slow down or inhibit inflammation, without any side-effects. Some people say that drinking aloe vera juice helps with their stiff, swollen or painful joints.

5. Regulates Weight and Energy Levels

Aloe vera juice naturally allows the body to cleanse the digestive system. Our diets include many substances which can cause lethargy and exhaustion. Taken regularly, aloe vera juice ensures a greater feeling of well-being, allowing energy levels to increase and helps maintain a healthy body weight.

6. Daily Dose of Vitamins & Minerals

Aloe vera juice contains vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, B12 (the aloe vera plant is one of the few plants in the world to contain vitamin B12), C, E, Folic Acid and Niacin. The human body cannot store some of these vitamins, so we need to supplement them regularly through our diet. The minerals found in aloe vera include Calcium, Sodium, Iron, Potassium, Manganese, Copper, Zinc, Magnesium, Chromium.

7. Collagen and Elastin Repair for Healthy Skin

Drinking aloe vera juice adds a rich supply of raw materials to your diet, which can produce and maintain really healthy skin. The skin replaces itself every 28 days. Using the nutritional building blocks of aloe vera, the skin can use these nutrients daily to help combat the effects of ageing. Aloe vera also helps in soothing minor burns, cuts, scrapes and skin irritations.

8. Amino Acids

The human body requires 20 amino acids to build protein; 8 of these amino acids are ‘essential’ which means the body can’t make them itself. Aloe vera contains 19 of these amino acids, and 7 of the essential amino acids. So drinking aloe vera juice tops up your body’s daily supply.

9. Dental Health and Hygiene

Aloe vera is extremely helpful for your mouth and gums. As well as its natural anti-bacterial and anti-microbial actions, it contains vitamins and minerals which promote cell growth and healing. There are some toothgels available which contain a high level of pure aloe vera, which may help with bleeding gums and mouth ulcers.

10. Better than Supplements

Recent research has shown that adding good foods to our diets, with naturally occurring vitamins and minerals, is far better than adding supplements alone. The good news is that Aloe Vera juice is considered a food, rather than a manufactured supplement, so our bodies can absorb all the nutrients more easily, and utilize them more effectively.

The health benefits of aloe vera juice have long been known. It has been used historically as a soothing balm, applied externally for cuts, scrapes and burns. Modern uses of aloe vera are extensive.

The health benefits of aloe vera taken internally include: improved circulation, regulation of blood pressure, promotes healing of bones and joints, strengthens the immune system, defends the body against bacteria, heals internal tissue damage, heals ulcers, improves and even eliminates constipation, blood sugar regulation, and reduces itchiness in psoriasis helping it to heal.

Drinking two to four ounces a day is all that is required to gain the many benefits of aloe vera juice. If you drink it daily, aloe vera can aid your digestion, improve your circulation and det

Mark asks…

What are ways to detoxify your body of marijuana?

I want to help out a friend who is looking to rid themselves of the trace of weed. He wants to get clean this summer and detoxify his body and needs drinks or methods to do so.

He has a high metabolism, slim and size (around 169 and 6’1 ft tall). He only smoked for about a month atleast once of twice a week and stopped for a whole week once.

Also what are some quick methods just in case he wants to apply for jobs?

Chloe Adisson answers:

So a couple of weeks ago I came in to apply for a job and found out that they were going to drug test once I was asked in for a interview, I was worried because I had a hit of weed just that last weekend. I wanted to rid my body of any THC before the interview, but didn’t know how. I asked my boyfriend who is almost an occasional pot smoker of how to wash any remaining THC from my system. He told me that his cousin took shots of vinegar. I asked him if it worked for his cousin and my boyfriend said that when he got drug tested, the results came out negative. I took two shots of vinegar in two days, while plugging my nose; the shots went down pretty harshly, but they worked. Unfortunetly I never got drug tested after my interview, but if my cousin told me that vinegar has helped me more than once for a drug test I almost guarrentee that it will help your friend out too.

Remember though, that all bodies are different. A person who smokes all the time will have THC in their body longer than an occasional weed smoker. From doing some research most weed websites have said the same thing about how long weed stays in the body, but some have said different things about how to get rid of the body. Another handy product that has worked for a lot of weed smokers trying to rid the weed from their system, is Quick Fix. Your friend can get it online for around to twenty or maybe thirty dollars, hopefully less. Hope this helped, and good luck to your friend:-)

Michael asks…

What are some ways to detoxify your body without chemicals?

I’m not doing any of that chemical cleanser or enema stuff. What are some other ways to detoxify? I’ve be drinking distilled water, which seems to work great.

Chloe Adisson answers:

The amino acid cysteine bonds with heavy metals, so adding cysteine to your diet as a supplement or as a food is a very good idea. The wiki entry has a listing of different foods that contain higher levels of cysteine (eggs are a personal favorite of mine, for instance – good sources of protein, good source of nutrition, taste great).

Without water you can’t flush anything out, so drink lots of water. Sweating, preferably through excercise, and urination are the only ways you can “flush” anything out of your system (in the way that you mean flush).

Most chemical cleansers are combinations of different herbs that have diuretic properties. If you consume an herb that makes your urinate more, you will drink more water. Ergo, the flush. That said, why not just drink water? You’re on the right track, there. Herbs are drugs, and you should be careful about what drugs you put into your body. Just because they’re natural doesn’t mean they’re safe. Caffeine is a diuretic – drink some coffee or an energy drink if you need that kind’ve thing.

Water doesn’t have to be distilled – as long as its reasonably clean you’re okay. Your body has built in purifiers (liver, kidneys, etc), and they can handle some trace elements and a bit of salt in your water.

Enemas are a waste of time, as far as “cleansing” or “flushing” goes.

Saul

EDIT: Do NOT eat 2 cups of nutmeg! WTF are you thinking? This will accelerate your heart, could potentially make you feel like fainting or like your chest is pounding or your heart is in your throaght, you will probably get the sweats…. This is a reallly really really really bad idea. Nutmeg is an herb that is used as a spice, and is to be used carefully when cooking, and certainly not to be used in large quantities!

Jeez… Just be safe, okay? You can purify your body by eating less processed foods (no fast food!), drinking lots of water, getting plenty of good sleep, and excercising at a healthy level for your age and medical condition. There are no silver bullets, no magic compounds that will “do it all” for you, no electroshock therapy treatments at a spa that will “purify” you, it takes some dedication but it can be done.

There are a lot of people who want to take shortcuts, who don’t want to spend the time it takes to do it right. These shortcuts are either ineffective, fraudulent, or dangerous. ‘Nuff said.

James asks…

How does water detoxify your body? Is it that it just flushes you out like when you urinate or how’s it work?

I’d like to try and detoxify my body from junk food that I’ve eaten in the past. I’ve heard water is a great detoxifier. Is that all I need to do is drink lots of water to detoxify?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Water does flush out some toxins, and yes, it comes out in the Urine and also in the bowel movements But to get your digestive system flushed out you need to have a deeper cleanse.
If you would care to contact me I can put you in touch with a friend who formulates a wonderful one.
Also where do you live? I like to know that I have friends in different parts of this wide world.

Joseph asks…

What weight loss program helps you detoxify and loss weight at a good rate?

I want to detoxify my body and loss weight healthily and rapidly. I want to lose 90 lbs by the end of the year.

Chloe Adisson answers:

I did fatloss4idiots diet plan and I lost about 50 pounds in not even 3 months. And I’ve kept it off for almost 2 years now. I found it to be the easiest diet because it pretty much told you what you could and couldn’t eat and you didn’t have to count points or anything like that. What I lost really isn’t typical for the amount of time I did it but I know others who have done it and they got really good results from it as well.

Using a Liver Cleanser

Share

If you are interested in keeping your body healthy, then you should find out more information about using a liver cleanser especially if you have already been diagnosed with liver disease.  The liver is an important organ in the body, and if your liver fails, or is riddled with disease, you will lose, at the very least, the ability to enjoy your life to the fullest.  Liver disease, if left unopposed, will even cause death.  Because the liver is so important, let’s see how easy it is to find and use a liver cleanser.

Finding a liver cleanser will be easy when you know where to look.  The first place you should start is your heath food store.  Besides being able to buy any products you will need, health food stores are also a great place to get information.  You will often find free pamphlets that will educate you about the latest findings of diseases and how to treat them.  The employees in most health food stores will be able to give you advice about the most popular liver cleansers and how to use them.  One such popular liver cleanser is milk thistle.

Milk thistle is a liver detoxifier that relieves congestion of the liver, spleen, and kidneys. Today, several scientific studies suggest that active substances in milk thistle (particularly silymarin) protect the liver from damage caused by viruses, toxins, alcohol, and certain drugs such as acetaminophen (a common over the counter medication used for headaches and pain; acetaminophen, also called paracetamol, can cause liver damage if taken in large quantities or by people who drink alcohol regularly.)

You may also want to try an internet search when getting more information about a liver cleanser.  If you are able to find a forum about liver cleansers, or cleansers in general, you will be able to ask your questions and get the advice of many people that have already tried different products.   If you have a particular product in mind that you want to use, you may be able to find testimonials of how it worked for previous consumers.  The internet will also give you a larger selection of places to order your liver cleanser from.  Be sure to read the ingredients of each product and research these ingredients so you are confident you are getting the best liver cleanser for you.

When using a liver cleanser, you should feel comfortable with the product and the process.  If you are unsure of how to use one, or you want professional help, be sure to consult with a doctor before trying the product.  They may be able to tell you about another product or option that you weren’t aware of.
