Question by : Why couldn’t big pharmaceutical companies make money on homeopathy if they wanted to?
People who support homeopathy always seem to imply this but I don’t get it.
If there are patents on aspirin, I am pretty sure that big pharma lawyers could figure out how to patent a homeopathic remedy. And I don’t think that cost is a good argument either. It costs billions of dollars and many years to develop a drug, it would be much much cheaper to begin selling a homeopathic remedy.

Because they’re too cheap and you can’t patent them! If they can’t charge outragious fees on a patented drug, why would they waste their time and money making pennies on the dollar for the research they’d have to pay for?

Question by michele36: What Homeopathic Remedies should I take?
I get a lot of muscle pains in my neck so I’ve been on muscle relaxers and would like to stop taking them. I would like to try some some homeopathic remedies but I’m not sure what to take and if it’s possible to take too many. I have arthritis in my neck, herniated and bulging discs that press on some nerves and cause arm pain. My neck muscles are always very tensed and painful. Also, I would like to know what the difference is between different remedies. Some answers I’ve read say to take Arnica 200 but where I order from they only have 30X or 30C and I don’t know the differences. If someone could please help answer what remedies are useful, the differences of the # after the remedy and where to order them I would great appreciate it.

Would it not be more wise to treat the problem? Rather than try to reduce the symptoms? When was the last time you visited your neighborhood chiropractor? That is something they deal with daily..

I have a fever and I’m afraid of being at the mercy of streptococcal of sorts. I have a history of being susceptible to its worst conditions. I can’t go to the DR because I’m in a foreign county. I need homeopathy advice, herbal remedies. Can anyone help me?

I don’t think fever leads to strep throat, I think fever is a result of strep throat.
I’ve read that vervain is used to treat fevers. I’ve never used it but I’m actually going to my health store to get some tomorrow. So maybe see if you can get vervain. It is a plant. I think it comes in liquid and pill form.

Question by birdsandbutterflies92: What do homeopathic doctors have to study to get into the business?
So I’m interested in becoming a homeopathic doctor. What would I need to study in order to become one and for how long?
Best answer:
Answer by DanC
I am not aware of any licenses or regulations in the US specifically allowing “homeopathic doctors” to practice. You could, however, become a “naturopathic doctor”, for which there is licensing in many states. Several states will allow a naturopath to be a primary care provider as well. Naturopathy covers homeopathy as well as nutrition, manipulative therapy, herbal remedies, etc.. In total, the education (for naturopathy) takes about six to eight years, depending on the program. Question by Ruma: What is best homeopathy medicine for dry breast milk?
I have 19 months old baby, I want to weaning breast feeding, when she doesn’t feed, my breast is full of milk for that breast is too heavy & i’m feeling uncomfortable. So, please suggest best homeopathy medicine for drying my breast milk.

Answer by Tui
The worst thing to do is to keep expressing, because that will prolong the agony. If you get really engorged it is best to sit in a hot bath and gently press and let some milk go (only a little) just enough to let a bit of the pressure off. Hot flannels help to relieve the pressure too.
A lot of people recommend three to six cups a day of sage tea to dry the milk but I personally used mint tea which tastes a lot nicer and worked just as well. Jasmine can also be used, as well as cabbage soup. Incidentally fresh cabbage leaves are well known to be of great benefit in reducing milk production – just bind as tightly as you can bear or wear a sports bra to get optimum effect from the cooling properties that will help to soothe inflamed or sore breasts.
Another useful herb to use is parsley and is much easier to use because it can be added to food without making a drastic change to the flavor of the dish, and much less is needed to produce a positive effect.
The worst things to take are fenugreek, raspberry or brewer’s yeast because they are specifically used to help increase breast milk.

It is well known that homeopathic HCG for weight control has become very popular among the obese people all over the world. People find it more effective and hassle free as compared to the others forms.
Homeopathic HCG is a substance that is normally secreted by a woman during the early months of pregnancy. However, it is usually given in conjunction with a diet plan which instructs the hypothalamus to release and mobilize the abnormal stored fat. These extra calories in the bloodstream give a feeling of stomach fullness and avoid hunger pangs, hence, making the people eat less food and eat only when they are actually hungry.
When people take a homeopathic remedy, they are asking the body to do something. In this case, they are asking the body to act like it has released natural HCG into their body. If they took a blood test, they would not find that they had HCG in their body at all! That is the beauty of homeopathic remedies. There cannot be any negative side effects because there are no chemical interactions caused by the remedy. More and more people are turning to homeopathic HCG as it is the best way to lose weight safely, fast and cheaply. HCG diet is available in different dilution strengths and therefore one requires a physician to recommend the right dosage.
To my mind, unlike other low calorie weight loss diets that help lose weight by depriving the body of the calories required to meet daily needs and using the muscle mass for energy in place of fat, homeopathic HCG works by making the body burn fat, that too without affecting the muscle mass. It works by making the hypothalamus function at normal levels and burn structural fat which dealt with these problematic areas such as upper arms, stomach and thighs more efficiently.
