Q&A: Why are the Homeopathy “skeptics” wasting so much of their time/life?

Share

Question by Fukken Über Death Party: Why are the so of ?
Instead of helping people, and perhaps engaging in a life, these “skeptics” sit around Yahoo! Answers and disprove homeopathy

I, frankly, could not care less whether this works or not. I think it’s really just an elaborate placebo, but that’s irrelevant.

The question at hand is, why do these skeptics waste so much of their time just complaining to each other when no one cares except themselves?
I’m on here because my class doesn’t start for another 30 minutes, so I really DON’T have anything to do with my life at the moment.
Skyhawk-

Well, then why is Christianity not as dangerous? People walking around believing a zombie saved them?
The reason is because…
survival of the fittest, let them believe what they want.
If they think that it works, let them think that! Eventually people will realize (ALL ON THEIR OWN) that it does not work.

Besides, I’m sure it does have a small percentage of people that it has worked on. Placebo effect
DEAR “

I find it ironic that you’re basing my off of my appearance. I am in , and (unlike you) am able to spell, use correct grammar and punctuation.

By the way, I’m sure you mean serendipity.

Lastly, try to answer the question at hand.

Most of the people here are doing a great job at answering my question, though.

Homeopathic Hcg Diet Scam – The Biggest Weight Loss Diet Lie Ever!

Share

Homeopathic HCG snake-oil salesmen are nothing more than multi-level marketers. Liquid HCG is the to hit the market in recent times. Each bottle costs less than to produce yet these charlatans are retailing liquid HCG for anything up to 9 a bottle or more! DO NOT let these HCG diet scammers trick you into buying product!

liquid HCG is sold as a weight “supplement”. I contacted the FDA recently and they said, “The ingredient that you are referring to is human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG). The ingredient is considered a drug and not a dietary supplement and not a homeopathic drug product.” If HCG is classified as a “drug” and not a “supplement” or “homeopathic drug” then what are these lying snakes putting in their liquid HCG bottles? That’s easy to figure out. All you have to do is look at the label on the bottle and see the ingredients, WATER and ALCOHOL. According to FDA CPG Sec. 400.400 policy it is ILLEGAL to sell homeopathic drug products without a prescription so it’s quite obvious to see that 1) What they’re selling is not real HCG or 2) What they’re selling is illegal. FDA policy also states:

“All prescription homeopathic drug products must bear the prescription legend, “Caution: Federal law prohibits dispensing without prescription,” in conformance with Section 503(b)(1) of the Act.”

Do any of these liquid HCG diet scammers write prescriptions for their products? Of course not and that’s because what they’re selling is not REAL HCG to begin with. You don’t need a prescription for a bottle of water! Dr. Simeons clearly states in his HCG diet protocol, “Pounds and Inches” that the only method of delivery for HCG is via injection. There is no other way. The idiocy of these companies selling homeopathic liquid HCG is blatantly apparent especially when they post Dr. Simeons HCG diet protocol right on their sites. This homeopathic HCG site states:

“The homeopathic version of HCG starts out with the hormone, which is then diluted many times to preserve its energy in a suspended form. Effectiveness is not compromised, and in fact the homeopathic form creates the exact same response in the body as daily HCG injections but without the side effects. The advantages are that you can travel with it, it does not have to be refrigerated, it stays stable longer, and it includes beneficial nutrients to help balance the entire body.”

Holy smokes! These people must think we’re stupid! The hormone is “diluted many times”? So basically what they’re admitting to is that there is NO HCG in their product! Anybody who’s had experience with the real HCG diet KNOWS that an overdiluted HCG mixture does absolutely nothing but set off food cravings. If the HCG mixture is overdiluted then that means the potency of it has diminished to basically “0″. A daily HCG dosage of at least 125IU is required in order to have any effect on weight loss. If homeopathic HCG bottled garbage is so diluted with what these sellers say is HCG, then what is the daily IU dosage that you’re taking? The answer is very plain to see. I posted a comment on a homeopathic HCG seller’s Facebook page and asked them how many IUs were in each dose. Surprise, surprise, they never answered. I then posted another comment in response to a lady who said she cheated while on the liquid HCG diet because she was overwhelmed with food cravings. I asked her if she tested her HCG to see if it was real and guess what? The homeopathic HCG promoter blocked me from posting any further comments on their page. I guess I posed a threat to their greedy little money-making business.

Homeopathic Liquid HCG Diet Scam – It’s All About the Money!

Homeopathic liquid HCG diet promoters don’t give two poops about whether you lose weight or not. As long as their pockets are being nicely lined with dollar bills who really gives a damn, right? Well, we ALL SHOULD! It’s time to stop these thieves in their tracks and inform everybody you know about these Liquid Liars. It’s time to boycott the sales of homeopathic HCG and stop these slithering serpents from continuing to spread false information.

Proponents of say there is an “energetic imprint” of the HCG in the solution of purified water.

Does this mean that an imaginary fairy flies onto the scene and taps your bottle of homeopathic liquid HCG with a magical wand to make it miraculously work? Come on people, GIVE ME A BREAK!!

The promoters of the liquid HCG diet are doing nothing but LYING TO YOU!

Homeopathic Liquid HCG Diet – It’s All In Your Head

I’m sorry to break it to you but it’s all in your head. The mind is extremely powerful and anything’s possible if you believe in it enough. Even Jesus said, “Because you have so little faith. I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, “Move from here to there” and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”

Yes, it works for some people and the only reason it does so is because you’re eating 500 calories. ANYBODY can lose weight eating 500 calories BUT what you’re NOT doing is resetting your hypothalamus gland which is the whole point of taking HCG in the first place. The only way to do this is through administration of HCG via injections.

According to the FDA there are only two companies in the US that are approved to import, manufacture, and distribute HCG, real HCG that is. They are Organon USA, Inc. and Ferring Pharmaceuticals, Inc. These two companies clearly state that HCG is to only be administered via injection – “Chorionic Gonadotropin for Injection”, and not by happily squirting it into your mouth.

The Sellers of Homeopathic Liquid HCG Drops Are Involved In a Multi-Level Marketing Pyramid Scam

One of the top of the pyramid affiliate companies of fake homeopathic HCG states on their website:

Are you a looking to sell HCG to the millions of people searching for it on the internet?

Homeopathic HCG retails for -0 and also sells in kits/packages ranging from 0-,000.

Some of our distributors are selling 1,000 bottles of Homeopathic HCG a month with simple four-page websites. At a bottle, this comes out to ,000 per month. Many distributors sell it for more. This is 100% passive income at 95%+ profit margins.

If you want a highly lucrative, quick, and easy business that helps obese people achieve their ideal weight unlike anything else, then look no further than being a distributor of Homeopathic HCG.

*****************************

The person on this website calls herself a “Doctor” of homeopathics and “expert on HCG”, but she’s not an AMA licensed medical doctor. I could call myself “Dr. Sandra, expert on biochemistry, medicine and and HCG.” Those are all pointless words.

Of course, most testimonials are written by affiliates just making them up, just like the actor’s diet photos, fake doctors pictures, etc.

These pyramid MLM companies and scammers have made it all but impossible to even find what you want to buy. You have to go through dozens, even hundreds of pages and websites now to find REAL HCG – if that is what you looking for. Tens, hundreds of thousands of fake testimonials. People dressing up like doctors. People who aren’t really a licensed medical doctor calling themselves “Dr. Whatever-of-Wherever”. Chiropractors with failed businesses with no and that have even banned from internal medicine holding themselves out as medical experts. You even have the kids putting on doctors outfits and writing, posting anything, any lie, any fraud – all to get your money for their affiliate seller percentage.

If they were making ENORMOUS PROFITS selling real HCG I guess that would just be business. But selling 1 and 2 ounce bottles labeled and presented as HCG for as much as 0+ when it’s just water with a little alcohol in it so it doesn’t go rancid (and killing the 1/100,000,000,000,000,000 of a microgram of HCG if there is any at all) is infuriating!!

NEVER, NEVER BUY “HCG” WITH ALCOHOL IN IT!

Real HCG is an organic, live substance. Alcohol totally destroys it. The “sting” in cheap homeopathic HCG is the alcohol that they put in it. They do so to give it unlimited shelf life and so that you can’t detect it’s just water. Before you buy HCG from ANYONE, firstly ask them if it has alcohol in it. If it does, it just a placebo (fake drug) and nothing else. If they’ll post fake doctors photos and fake testimonials, why wouldn’t they sell fake drugs?

If you read the entire Dr. Simeons HCG diet protocol, “Pounds and Inches“, you will not find “add alcohol” to the HCG anywhere in his medical manuscript. In fact, he warns to absolutely NEVER use alcohol. Alcohol destroys HCG.

I couldn’t post this if it wasn’t true. ANY HCG that has alcohol in it is a FAKE form of HCG that has ABSOLUTELY no benefit whatsoever. In fact, it’s exactly the opposite to the entire principle of the HCG diet program according to Dr. Simeons himself. No legitimate HCG product has alcohol in it. Before you buy from anyone else ASK if their HCG has alcohol in it. If it does, it’s fake.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS PRESCRIPTION STRENGTH HOMEOPATHIC HCG

While homeopathic products have merit, HCG with alcohol in it isn’t even relevant to HCG. Homeopathy is very ancient and on the concept that the immune system will react to natural poisons. So with homeopathics you give a person a really, really, almost infinitely small amount of a natural poison and it will trigger the immune system to react how it would to fight that poison. If you know how the body reacts to each poison, you know what homeopathic product to use. But HCG isn’t a poison. It is a living human hormone.

Sadly they know most people don’t know what the numbers on homeopathic remedies mean. PLEASE READ THIS so you understand how it works.

Have you heard that if you had a penny and you doubled it every day, in less than 30 days you’d have over a million dollars?

What if you divided the penny in half, 30 times in a row? It would be less than 1/1,000,000th of a penny.

Strictly “homeopathic HCG” means it has less than 1/100,000,000,000,000,000,000 of a gram of HCG in it – or LESS THAN 50 atoms. There are trillions and trillions of atoms in a gram. Even if those 30 to 40 atoms (that’s like zero) were beneficial, they use ALCOHOL to keep the water in the dropper from going rancid. HCG is a LIVING organism and THE ALCOHOL THEY PUT IN “HOMEOPATHIC HCG” WOULD DESTROY IT. So even if those less than 50 atoms would do you any good, they killed it with the alcohol.

The sad fact is that most people selling “homeopathic HCG” are just selling little dropper bottles of water with some alcohol in it for , or even an ounce! It is a bottle of nothing at all. Total hoax. MLM trickery.

The seller gets a 20% to 50% commission of whatever it is. It is the company that actually ships it, but some will put your company name and return address on it so it looks like it came from you.

Tempting. A promise of free money. No inventory to buy. No boxes or shipping, no employees. Just put their ad on your website so it looks like it came from you. There’s only one problem. It’s all a bunch of lies.

The homeopathic liquid HCG diet scammers put all this hyped up advertising for their products on your website – adding whatever testimonials you want and make up diseases that your website claims it will cure. It is a contest of who can make up the most convincing fake claims to sell the most homeopathic HCG. They have you put their affiliate code into the shopping cart so they know who sold what. Of course the customer thinks they’re buying from you and that all the ad language is true.

REAL HUMAN CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN (HCG) comes in POWDER form that needs to mixed with bacteriostatic water.

FAKE HCG comes in LIQUID form.

Simple.

Global College Of Natural Medicine On Line Review

Share

There are numerous holistic medicine colleges available. I found two that stood out to be the best after carefully researching. They are and the Natural Healing .

There are three degree programs offered at the Global College of Natural Medicine. They are a Bachelor, Master and Doctorate degree. The tuition will vary without enrollment and shipping costs a Bachelor runs about $4,000.

Global College offers a good range of holistic courses. They do, however, require you to mail in your tests. This is very time consuming. The Global College of Natural Medicine will not help you get a job after graduation nor do they have an internship program.

Selecting a college can be very stressful, however, a college is the foot work for a successful career. Once I compared Global College of Natural Medicine to the Natural Healing College I found the Natural Healing College is a cut above Global College for numerous reasons.

One of the main reasons the Natural Healing College is better is the extensive range of courses and degrees it has. You can choose from a Master Herbalist degree, a Master of Holistic Science degree, Ayurveda Practitioner degree or the Doctorate Holistic Practitioner degree.

It cannot be stressed enough how vital it is to be able to take tests online and get instant results. Students consider time to be valuable when they want to get degree and start career.

Money is a huge concern for all but for students it is a determining factor when it comes to picking a school. Fortunately, at the Natural Healing College you do not have to sacrifice a good education and benefits because the price of the tuition is lower than Global College of Natural Medicine. A degree at the Natural Healing College runs about $1,000 before any student discounts are applied.

The Natural Healing College has students from all over the world to include many professional people such as doctors, lawyers and more.

Herbs | Ten Natural Herbs That Can Help Lower Your Blood Pressure, Unclog Your Arteries And More

Share

During the summer of 2001 I had the wonderful opportunity to be part of an ongoing clinical herbal trial here in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, where I qualified to participate because I happen to have high blood pressure. My blood pressure can range anywhere from 145 points to as high as 175 points at times. When I first came into and began the trial, my blood pressure was taken and read at 165 over 95 plus.

I’ve learned from participating in this clinical trial and doing some further research that specific can help lower your blood pressure in a natural way.

At the start of the trial, I was asked and instructed by the participating naturopathic doctor to take every day, an organic liquid herbal extract that included ten herbs (see list below). I was directed to take 15 drops under my tongue three times a day for the time duration of the trial for 2 months. I was also asked to take note of any changes I might sense or be aware of during the time as well.

The liquid herbal blend tasted absolutely horrible where I could hardly take it… but I persevered and took the required amount that I was asked to take. After a few days, it didn’t seem to taste quite as bad, as I guess I started to get used to it. I had the sense that because it tasted so strong, it had to be maybe doing something and hopefully it was good!

After the two months time period, I was again seen by the naturopathic doctor who tested my blood pressure three times.

I was quite pleasantly surprised to learn that my blood pressure had actually dropped 24 points. I hadn’t done anything differently with my life-style other than take this liquid herbal extract as asked. I had also noticed other benefits that I felt pretty soon after taking the herbal blend. I quickly felt an overall sense of well-being and later noticed that an ongoing problem I’ve had with heart-burn wasn’t as prevalent and had almost disappeared. I was also sleeping better.

I’ve since learned that some of these ten herbs can also help to naturally unclog the plaque in your arteries as well.

I find it exciting to know that these herbs can offer some alternative help to the many evasive drugs that are often prescribed to folks who have no other alternative. I am happy to share an alternative that may help others as they have helped me.

Here is the list of the ten herbs that I was asked to take on the trial:

Please note that many other benefits may be known for some of this list of herbs – I’ve pretty listed the benefits specifically related to lowering high blood pressure and general cardiovascular heart .

? Garlic (Allium sativum)

Has antibacterial, antiviral and anti-fungal properties, drains fluid congestion. Prevents and dissolves clots, lowers blood pressure and reduces cholesterol. Garlic can protect against infectious organisms like viruses, bacteria and fungi and blocks the enzymes that enable organisms to enter the tissue. It increases the enzymes that can detoxify cancer triggers. Garlic works as an anticoagulant to inhibit blood clotting and to lower blood pressure, by widening the blood vessels and encouraging good circulation. It is believed that Garlic may also facilitate less cholesterol being released into the blood. All of these factors make Garlic a good nutrient for prevention of heart disease and other heart-related issues.

? Hawthorn (Crataegus oxyacantha)

Helps estore and stimulate the heart and arterial circulation Regulates and balances the whole cardiovascular system. Hawthorn can help treat heart disease related symptoms. Considered by herbalists to be the world’s best cardiac tonic. Used for beginning heart disease, mild heart-muscle weakness, angina, and arrhythmia. Hawthorn promotes healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels by relaxing blood vessels, increasing metabolism in the heart muscle, and improving blood supply to the heart. Also used for sleeplessness, nervousness, poor digestion, and control.

? Coleus (Coleus Forskohlii)

Helps lowers high blood pressure, positive inotropic action on heart, increases force of contraction Ideally suited for treatment of mild congestive heart failure Works synergetically with other herbs, potent inhibitor of human platelet aggregation. Coleus has been traditionally used to treat high blood pressure and other benefits include help in losing weight, improving digestion and nutrient absorption, fighting cancer, and immune system support.

? Motherwort (Leonurus cardiaca)

Is a circulatory stimulant, can help lower blood pressure, is a sedative and nerve tonic. It also regulates blood pressure and rapid heartbeat and tones the heart. Tests show that it treats heart disease effectively by reducing cholesterol levels. It also treats menstrual irregularities and the symptoms of menopause.

? Bilberry (Vaccinium Myrtillus)

Very good for eyes (night vision) inhibits macular degeneration of the eye Inhibits growth of bacterial cells and dilates blood vessels. Bilberry keeps the blood vessels healthy. The compounds contained in the bilberry, notably the anthocyanosides, have been shown to help fortify blood vessel walls, thereby aiding circulation and increasing blood flow.

? Butchers Broom (Ruscus aculeatus)

Helps keep blood from forming clots, reduces vascular permeability, assists circulation. It narrows blood vessels and can relieve the discomfort of circulatory conditions such as chronic venus insufficiency and varicose veins. It also relieves related symptoms such as cramping, itching, numbness and swelling.

? Mistletoe (Viscumalbum)

For arterial hypertension can help lower high blood pressure and has been shown to affect blood pressure central arteries in the brain. It’s good for high blood pressure, cancer and a fast heart rate from feeling nervous. It may also be used to improve the immune system. This system protects your body from infection.

? Kelp (Laminaria digitata)

Used mainly for the iodine and effect it has on the thyroid gland and is a sustainer to the nervous system and the brain. Kelp is also very rich in vitamins, nutrients and minerals that it works wonderfully as an all around every day vitamin.

? Ginger (Zingiber Oficinale)

Helps improves digestion, can help improve liver function, nervine, thins blood and lowers cholesterol Stimulates circulation, especially to extremities. It particularly inhibits cholesterol production in the liver, which makes up to 85% of the cholesterol in circulation in the blood stream. Ginger also decreases the activity of plate-activating factor (PAF), a clotting agent that creates the clot that can result in heart attack of stroke.

? Cayenne Capsicum annuum)

Equalizes the blood flow in the body, enhances the effect of other herbs Stimulates body and organs properly so that they heal, cleanse, and begin to function normally. It helps regulate the heart and blood pressure. It can improve blood circulation and normalize both high and low blood pressure. It apparently increases heart action without increasing blood pressure.

Herbal Education at Natural Health Schools

Share

Find Herbal in the United States and Canada. Many natural schools have integrated herbal education into standard curriculums and coursework. Students seeking an internship or practical training in natural medicine will find that an herbal education provides necessary skills and knowledge to become certified herbalists, herbal consultants, Chinese herbal medicine practitioners, and even naturopaths.

Herbal education is comprised of in-depth studies in the practice and art of clinical herbalism. In most herbal education herbhandbook programs, students are taught the roots of herbalism, including classes in therapeutic herbal medicine, medicine making and lab work, anatomy and physiology, herbal formulations, plant identification (botany) and growing of , and nutrition, aromatherapy, plant chemistry, and other related subjects of study.

Typically, students who have successfully completed an herbal education will know how to identify, harvest and manufacture herbal medicine from medicinal plants. In addition, an herbal education will have trained students in how to effectively use herbal medicine as a treatment for common ailments, illnesses and other health conditions.

Depending on which natural health school in which you choose to enroll, an herbal education curriculum is often incorporated in naturopathic and Oriental medicine studies. In these courses, students are frequently introduced to natural herbal medicine and aspects pertaining to both Eastern and Western medicine.

A number of herbal education programs will commonly result in certification in the respective course of study; however, some natural health schools do offer herbal education that may result in a degree in herbal sciences.

As the consumer demand for natural healthcare and alternative medicine continues to grow, students who achieve an herbal education can feel confident that this coursework is not only beneficial to personal enrichment, but to professional growth as well.

If you (or someone you know) are interested in finding herbal education, let career training within fast-growing industries like massage therapy, cosmetology, acupuncture, oriental medicine, Reiki, and others get you started! Explore career school programs near you.

New Vaccine for Cervical Cancer

Share

Recently I have heard a great deal about a new vaccine for cervical cancer. Like many, I was shocked to hear that cervical cancer can be caused by a virus just like the common cold. I thought that like many other kinds of cancer, cervical cancer was most likely a result of some sort of genetic mutation. Apparently, this mutation is caused by a virus that is more easily spread than we would like to believe.

During my sophomore year in , my roommate came to me with a concern. She was experiencing something strange and was frightened by it. After listening to her describe her symptoms, it did not take long before I knew that whatever this was went far beyond a typical yeast infection or similar issue. I recommended that she see a doctor and when she did, she was told that she had contracted HPV.

Human Papilloma Virus was not something I had heard of. When I did some research on sexually transmitted diseases, I found mentions of HPV. These mentions generally came at the end of the lists, which to me implied that HPV was not nearly as serious as other sexually transmitted diseases that we all know of. This was six years ago.

Perhaps even six months ago most people who came across mentions of HPV in research would have discounted the severity of the virus. They certainly did not associate this virus or any virus with something as serious as cervical cancer. Cervical cancer can go undetected without a gynecological exam and Pap test. It is recommended that all women undergo such an exam every year. With the media coverage we have been blessed to witness recently on the topic, women everywhere are more informed about sexual health.

My friend has since had to undergo gynecological exams twice a year to monitor the HPV situation. She was told early on that the virus could render her sterile if not kept in check. Now she is more concerned about the possibility of developing cervical cancer than anything else. If she does not live, her worries about possibly being unable to create and give life are meaningless.

Hopefully, more and more women in the future will be able to avoid such worries with the introduction of the HPV vaccine. Although cervical cancer was not a subject you heard about often, it has been covered a lot in the news recently and will hopefully lead to fewer cases as more about cervical cancer and its causes becomes available.
