Hcg Diet Drops Questions Answered

Share

James asks…

What kind of lotion can i use while taking the hcg drops.?

I know it has be a certain kind but I need names cuz I can’t seem to find any that fit the description

Chloe Adisson answers:

HCG was banned by the FDA last month as a fraudulent product for .
It doesn’t matter which brand, they are all out there just to take your money so it doesn’t matter which lotion you use.

Steven asks…

hCG diet drops, questions about losing weight?

Ok, i’m 18, 5′ 6″ and I weigh 180, I’m wanting to lose 40lbs.. If i take the hcg drops do the 500 calorie diet, and i’m lifting weights and walking. How much weight will I be able to lose in the first week??

Has anyone had success with doing the drops?

Chloe Adisson answers:

According to the “protocol” for this diet you are supposed to do minimal with such a low caloric intake.
A 500 calorie per day diet is considered anorexic. Mix it with a hormone from pregnant women’s urine and you get a miracle diet!
All over the counter hcg products were announced as illegal and fraudulent by the FDA on January 24, 2011. Testing concluded that all over the counter oral and injection products on the market have little to no real hcg in them but most a similar synthetic hormone. I was in GNC two weks ago. They carry three brands of hcg drops and not one of them has any hcg in them. The well trained salesman even admitted it when I mentioned it. They contained “similar hormones” or amino acids.
Anyone that lost weight especially with the drops did it because they ate fewer calories than they burned. The hcg acted as the placebo to help them lose the weight.
The only approved use for hcg is to increase fertility in both men and women.
Next year will mark 60 years since this fraudulent science was started.
The doctors exploiting this benign hormone with the ability to prescribe injections can’t even agree on how it works. Some say it releases stored fat calories into the system. Others say it acts as an appetite suppressant.
Neither explanation justifies the weight loss in the individuals taking the oral drops with NO hcg in them that still lost weight. I am confident the hcg diet has a 95% failure rate just like every other controversial diet plan out there.
By the way, the expensive “clinical injections” are not covered by insurance since it is not FDA approved. What doctor wouldn’t want to get an “all cash” practice going?
Check out these clips before going further. Just aired a few months ago.

So the question is are you willing to risk your health with an extreme diet treatment based on testimonial evidence as opposed to clinical research evidence, and the statements from doctors in this all cash business?

David asks…

What would happen if you drank soda or milk with the hcg diet drops?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Why are you drinking soda if you are diabetic?
Please throw the bogus HCG drops out thank you.

Joseph asks…

What lotion is it ok to use while using the hcg diet drops?

My sister said lotion wasn’t even necessary but I have really dry skin I need the name of any lotion that I can use

Chloe Adisson answers:

I’m doing the HCG diet right now following the 21 Day program from http://prohcgdiet.com As per the instruction I got, you can use lotion and make up during the HCG protocol. With all of your personal care and beauty products, you need to check the ingredients and avoid any products the contain food oils. Most solid deodorants contain castor oil, which is not allowed…. Currently I am using Pantene products for the hair. I changed my lotion to Neutrgena oil free face lotion but use this for hand and body lotion as well. I changed my soap to liquid Zest. I did not change my shave gel either. No issues that I can see and I get all products at Wal-Mart.

Donald asks…

HCG diet drops. Is there a difference in strength cause on ebay theres lots of different prices?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Better no to waste your money.
“500-calories per day is severely restrictive! In fact, it is not enough calories to support normal brain function. Your body will compensate by using stores of glycogen, protein (muscle) and some fat, which lowers your resting metabolism. Before you can lose true weight, you will be so irritable, lightheaded, and cranky that you’ll reach for whatever food you can get your hands on and have a field day.

There is no scientific evidence supporting HCG as a weight loss strategy. The FDA has required all marketing and advertising of HCG to state the following: “HCG has not been demonstrated to be effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of . There is no substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a more attractive or ‘normal’ distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with calorie-restricted diets.”

Aromatherapy Candles Questions Answered

Share

Mary asks…

candles?

whats the most realxing scent of aromatherapy candle?

Chloe Adisson answers:

Lavender is an amazing relaxing scent. I suggest going to your local health food store and buying a high quality lavender scented soy candle. They burn clean and some of them can even be used as a warm oil when they melt! There are different grades of lavender oil which is why spending a little bit more on a high quality one is worth it. Happy relaxing!

Helen asks…

Who sells amazing aromatherapy candles and relaxation products?

Looking to be a nice graduation gift for my husband’s mother who has just earned her MA. She is a nervous nelly type and needs some nice relaxation gifts. Any ideas of what stores sell higher quality candles, tapes, massage type items?

Chloe Adisson answers:

The Body Shop. They have tons of relaxing Products there. It’s good quality stuff, and not to pricey. (pricey?? Is that even a word?? Well I’m sure you know what I mean.)

Betty asks…

Where is a good/cheap place to find aromatherapy candles online?

I want them to help me sleep, specifically.

Chloe Adisson answers:

Define cheap?

We make aromatherapy candles.
8oz candle will cost you $14.00.. Will give you a burn time of 65 – 75 Hours.

Steven asks…

Where can I buy Aromatherapy of Rome candles?

I used to buy two candles from the Aromatherapy of Rome brand: Meditation and Sensual. I can’t seem to find them anywhere. The retailers I used to buy from do not carry them anymore. Do you know where I can buy these candles or have you found a similar brand that you like as much? I’m so addicted to these scents I’d love to find them or something similar. The Sensual candle contained a blend of neroli, patchouli, and ylang ylang essential oils. Thanks for your help!

Chloe Adisson answers:

. They are in a place called Mere on the wiltshire /dorset border. You could find out their number and ask what type of candles they sell. They may even do mail order. Apart from that i don’t really know.

Richard asks…

Any suggestions for truly high-quality aromatherapy candles?

I’m willing to pay more for a good candle. Mostly, I just want something that works well.

Chloe Adisson answers:

Well, Aromatherapy doesn’t work well in candles.

To be considered aroma therapy the candle would have to be scented with only natural essential oils. Most natural essential oils are highly flammable and have a low flash point (meaning they burst into flame at a low temperature.)

Squeeze some orange peel towards a flame – watch the fire. The candle maker doesn’t want that to happen to them when they pour the candle. Or boom, they will have a big fire on their hands.

Also, most natural essential oils don’t last long in a candle. They ‘scent out’ if you will.

Aromatherapy is great, and candles are nice, but they don’t exactly mix the way some people would want them too. Think of chips and dip – they are good, but if you mixed the two together, and left the min the fridge for a week – would you still want to eat it?

A better idea is to get one of those burners, with a candle on the bottom an a glass dish were you put water, then an essential oil. That way you can use natural essential oils and change the sent when you wish.

Plus, you get to blend – try some Eucalyptus with some Frankincense – sounds horrible bit it’s really nice. Or a mint (peppermint, spearmint, etc.) and some Ylang ylang. I could go on and on…

Aromatherapy Massage Treatments

Share

is one of the oldest healing arts in the world. For thousands of years, ancient peoples used the oils derived from natural plants as a way to heal a multitude of conditions and ailments. Today, many therapists are incorporating aromatherapy into their therapy so they can give their clients better and more effective natural treatment.

There are hundreds of natural massage products on the market today. Aromatherapy can be used in the actual massage and incorporated into the massage oil, and can also be infused and inhaled during the course of the massage therapy treatment.

Essential oils are the basis for aromatherapy massage products. These oils are natural products that are derived from all organic products such as plants, fruits, flowers, barks and herbs. There are hundreds of indispensable oils available and they can be used in many different ways in aromatherapy massage treatments.

The oils used in aromatherapy massage treatments should not be used directly upon the skin. Some clients might find this direct contact irritates their skin and could cause minor discomfort. Also, they are very concentrated and must be mixed with carrier oil. There are different recipes for oils used in massage therapy and they range from treating everything from depression, to migraines, to arthritis.

Many massage therapists who incorporate aromatherapy into their treatments make their own special blend of massage oils. Others simply purchase their aromatherapy massage oils on one of the many online outlets that offer these types of products. As essential oils derive their healing power from being absorbed into the skin, it is important that the massage oils that boast to contain vital oils contain pure significant oils and not synthetic products. Pure indispensable oils are expensive and are also used in aromatherapy soaps and other products. However, they are well worth the cost.

Another way to incorporate aromatherapy into massage treatments is to infuse the essential oils and allow the client to breath in the healing powers of the oils into their lungs. Breathing the essential oils is just as effective as having them rubbed into the skin, sometimes even more so. Massage with the oils can still be performed thus doubling the healing powers of the essential oils.

Alternate healing properties that have worked wonders in the East for thousands of years are finally beginning to be recognized in the West. Many people are tired of taking prescriptive medication for all ailments that can be both physically and emotionally addictive. This is the reason why so many people in the West suffering from chronic painful conditions, anxiety and other conditions are seeking out the healing powers of aromatherapy massage treatments.

Today fortunately natural and organic products are readily available. Natural massage products are available throughout the Internet and in most health food stores as well as some nationally recognized grocery food chains. It is important to make certain the aromatherapy massage products that you purchase are all natural products and contain no synthetic chemicals.

“With immediacy and intensity, smell activates memory, allowing our minds to travel freely in time.” — Tom Robbins, Jitterbug Perfume

is an alchemic practice that has been used for centuries in many ancient cultures for a myriad of purposes. The aromas of each oil have a different and beneficial effect on the olfactory and limbic systems and can be used to treat both physical and emotional disorders. Lavender oil and tea tree oil are among the few essential oils that can be applied to the skin in their pure form – most are too strong and must be used with a base oil as a carrier. There are many base oils to choose from–jojoba, sesame, wheat germ, evening primrose and grapeseed, to name a few. Most health food stores sell these oils by the half or full gallon, as well as in smaller quantities.

Choose no more than three essential oils for each blend. Where more than three oils are listed in a category below, choose the three that most appeal to you.A helpful measurement guide is 20 drops of oil = 1 milliliter (ml), and 9 ml = 2 teaspoons. In general, use between 20 and 60 total drops of essential oil in 100 ml of base oil. When blending an oil formula to be applied to the face or body, mix 3-4 drops of each essential oil into a base oil of your choice (9 to 12 total drops for a blend with three essential oils). When using a diffuser, drop no more than three oils at a time directly into water. For a bath, drop 6-10 drops total of your selected oils directly into bath water.

For specific issues with the skin, use these oils:

Blemishes/breakouts – tea tree, lavender, camphor (note: tea tree oil can be used alone, without a base oil)Burns – ice the area for 10 minutes first, then follow with lavender oil applied directly to the skin. Finally, use a dry cold compress soaked with five drops of lavender oil.Mature/dry skin: lavender, rose (otto), carrot, geranium, frankincense; use evening primrose oil as a baseSensitive/irritated skin: lavender, carrot, chamomile; use evening primrose oil as a base

Key Tips of Aromatherapy

Share

is an alternative way on how to heal certain ailments in the body. It is also a method to help relax and soothe the senses on your body. That is why this type of therapy is usually offered in spas and other health and wellness places.

Since the ancient times, people have already known how to use aromatherapy. This is because of the different essences that can be found in different places. It has been determined that in Egypt, aromatic spices and different essences have been used.

To make it easier for you, here are the aromatherapy tips on how to purchase essentials. Read on.

The first thing you can consider on how to use aromatherapy is the type of essences you want to use. There are so many essences that are available in the market. You can choose from salts or essences. This means that it can be in a liquid form or in a solid form.

Always remember to purchase aromatherapy products from reputable therapy stores. This is to prevent you from buying fake or with small amounts of natural ingredients of aromatherapy essences. This is a very useful aromatherapy tips because there are lots of sellers out there are imitating products that are low on the budget but not effective at all.

It should also be a precautionary measure for you not to buy essences that are stored in plastic containers. This may lessen the integrity or effectiveness of the essences. It is best to purchase one or more that is stored in a bottle. It will definitely preserve the aroma of the product.

Don’t be confused in choosing synthetic versus the natural aromatherapy products. You can determine this by the label and the scent. Just be careful because synthetic scents can sometimes give allergic reactions or it may cause you nausea.

Now, another aromatherapy tips you can do is how to properly store your essences. For sure, you will not be throwing the aromatic product. Just store it properly and you can use it again in case you are in the mood.

The only thing you should consider here is the shelf life of the essences and aromatic oils. Again, you will know it by reading the label of the aromatherapy products. You should also consider placing the scents in a storage box that has enough room temperature. However, to prolong the shelf life of an essence, you can store it in a refrigerator. Just make sure that you label it so as not to mistake it as a food.

Always keep in mind that how to use aromatherapy will invigorate your senses. It has been proven that an individual’s health and wellness is enhanced just by using aromatherapy. Another amazing thing about it is the natural scents that are being used.

These are just some of the effective aromatherapy tips that you can apply. Remember, it is only right for you to relax and calm your senses. Choose different aromatherapy oils and essences now and be well.
