Question by : Nut oils for aromatherapy – can I use them for cooking?
I’m looking for alternative vegetable oils for cooking and salad dressings but most are quite expensive. I’ve seen cold-pressed nut oils on Amazon and eBay at a fraction of the price when included in the aromatherapy category. Would these oils be any different from the ones packaged as cooking oils? They are advertised as ‘pure’, so I’m wondering if there’s a difference.

Question by amy: How long does it take essential oils to grow hair back?
my hair had fallen excessively after the birth of my second child. and that was a year n’ half ago. it never grew back as it used to be, now i have very thin and fine hair. i was told that essential oils ( rosemary oil, jojoba oil, olive oil and basil oil) grows hair back. is that true and how long does it take to get back my hair?

Answer by B.Lieve
Well for one try using Mane N’ Tail Horse Shampoo. I use it all the time and it makes your hair grow faster. You can find it at walmart in the pet section. also you should drink plenty of water to condition your hair and when shampooing and conditioning you should use cold or
luke warm water on your hair so it won’t damage it. Even hot water hurts your hair.
Btw if your looking for a cute hairstyle to try out these tutorials. they are awesome. ;D

Question by : Are aromatherapy oils reusable on an oil burner?
I’ve been using Clary Sage oil on an oil burner, and have left the remaining oil on it when I’m finished.
If I was to light the burner again using the oil that was remaining that has already been heated before, would it still work? have the same effect?
Best answer:
Answer by alt.healer
Essential oils are very volatile, meaning that they evaporate rather quickly. And heat makes it that much quicker. I would doubt that any healing /calming properties remain so forget that. It’s the volatile oils that enter the nose and cause the brain to put chemicals into the bloodstream to do the expected healing.

Question by ali-babaa: Aromatherapy essential oils aphrodisiac perfume 10 pts!!?
Hi!
I’ve been doing my research into aromatherapy oils and I want to make myself an “aphrodisiac perfume”, as an experiment more than anything!
The pure essential oils I bought are: sandalwood, ylang ylang, jasmine, cinnamon leaf oil, & vanilla.
I’ve read that the 1st three are the main aphrodisiacs, men just like the other 2…If i mix some of them in a perfume, would it lower the aphrodisiac effects do you think?? i.e if vanilla and sandalwood are mixed say, the smell might be kind of confused, so it wouldn’t be an aphrodisiac, or would it enhance the effect?
Does anyone have any tips on how I can use these oils in a perfume? Some recipes maybe.
Thank you!!

I am also doing a small research on aromatherapy as well. I have started believing in the theory of aromatherapy. I personally feel that this alternative healing method is any time better and more fruitful then conventional healing
