Question by : Whats the best aromatherapy essential oil to use for handmade soap?
I was planning on making a small batch. Wondering what other soapers have liked in the way of aromatherapy essential oils (as oppossed to perfume fragrance) oil.

I know a lot of them aren’t suitable for handmade soap because of the termperature or expense. I was thinking of orange, patchouli or cedar.

Any suggestions?

Hi. I must begin homeopathy treatment but I’m scared to begin it. What’s the worst thing that could happen to me?
I am not physically ill (but sort of mentally). So I am NOT on a medical prescription. I am only on a homeopathic prescription.

Question by Curiousity killed the cat: Aromatherapy question – grapefruit seed extract?
Trying to buy some online.

My recipe is telling me to use ‘drops’ of grapefruit seed extract, and the website sells bottles of it in millimitres. So roughly how many drops would I get out of 25ml?

And does anybody know its benefits?

you will get plenty of “drops” out of 25ml, however it only has a ‘short shelf life’ so use within 6 months. benifits are primarily uplifting & anti-depressant, it is helpful for anxiety, depression, cellulite, colds & flu, fluid retention, nervous exhaustion, & preformance stress.

Hi, I am looking for a homeopathy and/or chinese medicine remedy for the following symptoms:
1. Late/scanty periods
2. Cold hands/feet

Can someone recommend remedies for this? Will I need two separate medicines or is there one medicine to help both?

Does anybody know of a good site or place online with an extensive selection of aromatherapy ,vitamins and plant,herb or flower extracts. I am determined to get healthy without a ton of meds. I also noticed that most of my skin care products were pure chemicals (nylon,parabens and worse) and wanted to find more natural products or make my own.

Homeopathic remedies are a great alternative to the pharmaceutical crap that doesn’t cure, it just keeps you needing it. Homeopathic meds don’t always work for everyone, but they do work for most. I say give it a go, it can’t hurt.

Obviously there is no cure for clearer skin, but what is most effective out of Medicines (creams, pills etc..) or Homeopathy?

It depends. If you want something that is healthier for your body, use a homeopathy remedy. However, with a homeopathic remedy, the dosage is higher. For example, one remedy which comes in a bottle from A Vitamin Shoppe requires 4 doses a day. A medicine such as Differin only requires one or maybe 2 doses a day but you should use with an oil free moisturizing lotion.
