Doctors And Becoming A Good One
Many people decide to become a doctor, and just as they imagined, it is hard work. It may take very long days to make sure that one of their patients makes it through the night. It is a rewarding profession, and people who think they can become good ones should continue their quest. This article will describe the life of typical doctors.
It might be thought to be an easy thing to see ones patients everyday, and the doctor just goes home everyday after work. However, there are many things that one does as a doctor to get to the point that they are treating each and every one of their patients with high quality care. For example, much of the knowledge that one attains in their practice was learned when they went to school.
When they begin training, they can start to use this knowledge with the patients they see. They begin to hone their knowledge because they are getting more experience with everyday patients seen. They start to learn more about these diseases and learn how to better manage patient in these situations.
Much of their time is spent not only seeing the patients but also assuring that the decisions that they make are the correct ones. It is important to know that they are not leaving out any specific diagnoses that could be included in the category of diseases that they are contemplating about.
An example of noting all types of diagnoses that could cause a certain problem is something that causes chest pain. We have all had chest pain from something like pneumonia or reflux disease. However, there are other more severe problems that cause chest pain like heart attacks. So, it is up to the physician to make those correct decisions to not miss the important problems.
Once they are able to make the right diagnosis, they can apply the correct treatments. This is where the medical training after school comes in handy because in training, doctors are working in the hospitals treating their patients. They are giving them the top medical care in this country that is known to be available. They are also learning what is being tested and tried to see if new treatments are becoming available. These are the times when a young doctor can test and see what works for them. It is also a time where they learn to make decisions for themselves to care for their patients.
So, becoming a doctor is hard work and diligence to help their patients follow through. It takes motivation from the patients as well to make them get better as well.
Becoming a doctor can be a rewarding profession. It takes dedicated people to work through a sometimes rough environment. In the end, most doctors are happy with their decision to become one.
When an individual is ill they should go and consult a physician. There are many different types of doctors who each focus in a specific field of medical practice such as naturopathic, or family practice.

well, i actually think that one *is wrong* if one can only understand extremes and can’t recognize positions in the middle. when a political official supports, say, a public option for health care, and a pundit responds by exclaiming “that’s socialism!”, they are implying (or assuming) that a policy’s being socialist is enough to make it wrong/dangerous/unamerican, when in fact america is rife with ‘socialist’ policies and programs (in the sense of being publicly owned/run) which are widely celebrated, even by the most vocal supporters of capitalism. the US military? socialist. the new york fire department who responded to the 9/11 disaster? socialist. the project to put the first american on the moon? socialist. the people who oppose socialism overwhelmingly do not oppose these plainly socialist programs, which means they really are wrong in seeing the american economy in terms of capitalism vs. socialism, because *their own position* lies somewhere in between.

According to all the reputable polls the majority of the American people are satisfied with the health care in this country as it is. I’ve read much of the proposals in both bills and its obvious these bills are more about controlling the public than they are about health care.
Not to worry there will be no significant changes in health care during the one and only term of the Obama Administration

Thanks for your article it really shed some light. As an American here in German, (terrified to eat any raw fruit or vegetables). I keep thinking this could never happen on this scale in the U.S., but I guess I’m wrong. It does seem that the Germans were a bit slower in identifying what was going on then the Americans would have been. There may be several reasons for that, but of course the answer to 99 out of 100 questions is, money. Probably they didn’t do all the tests needed when people first starting showing up at the hospital, because those tests are costly, not to mention that health care workers in Germany don’t seem to have access to a central information gathering source as maybe the EPA, CDC, it’s more decentralized. Things move much slower, and it seems like speed is also needed in quickly identifying and mitigating the problem.
