Can I use a regular ar pump for an aquarium with the glass part of an aromatherapy nebulizer?

but i already have several aquarium air pumps and just wondered if i could just purchase a replacement glass part for the diffuser and just hook it up to an aquarium pump. has anyone tried this before?

It will work just fine – I’ve repaired a couple of them that way
The Hagen “elite 799″ or “elite 801″ seems to work quite fine with those type nebulizers….
I think any air pump you got laying around that you would use on a tank under 5 gallons would work. A larger one might, but you might need another size airline and an adapter (and those silly adapters can be hard to find)

cold air diffuser for aromatherapy?
Has anyone tried one of these to diffuse essential oils? If so, what is a good brand, and where did you find it?

I’m a certified aromatherapist and the only 2 brands I feel comfortable endorsing are Nature’s Sunshine and Young Living. (both of wich you can order online).They are – no doubt – 100% pure. The majority of other brands have some sort of chemical additive or are chemically distilled even though they claim to be “natural”. The air diffuser is a great way to use your essential oils!!

Where can I find aromatherapy pendant diffusers for around $10 – $20?
I know about the Whiffers, but they’re a tad out of budget. I would like to buy one for each of my co-workers, so the cheaper the better.
Any info you could give me would be much appreciated.

Volatile aromatics increase the quantity of particulates in indoor air. These particles travel deep into the lungs and are transported by macrophages into the blood stream. It’s not sure how these particles then react (probably due to metallic particles adsorbed on their surface) but they increase blood pressure and induce heart attacks in susceptible individuals.
Upshot? You really don’t want these things anywhere near your nose for hours at a time, spare your fellow workers the risk.

Can anyone recommend an aromatherapy recipe for depression / anxiety via essential oils?
I just got a diffuser / a basic set of oils and would like to learn a few recipes to use for both depression and anxiety. If you have any recipes that have worked for you, I would appreciate them. Thank you.

For depression: any citrus, geranium, juniper
For anxiety: ylang-ylang, lavender, chamomile, bergamot

Bath and body works oils in Young Living diffuser?
I’m new to aromatherapy. I bought few essential oils from BnBW (they are buy one get one free today 
).
Option 1: I use oil warmer, tea light candle, add water to the bowl with few drops of oil
Option 2: buy a diffuser -

Once I like the feeling, I can move on to more expensive oils. However, what is the best diffuser? would an oil warmer be as effective as a diffuser?
My expectation is to have my house smell good all the time with minimal effort and mood enhancer would be a plus

It does not matter what kind of diffuser you use.
They do not have to cost tons of money
I use a butter melter.
You want it to use a tea light candle
the dish that is on top should hold 3/4 cup of liquid.
For the oils it depends on what you want them to do.
Some help for headaches
upset tummy
open your lungs or nose
to lift mood
to help you sleep.
Calm you down.
For romance.
The cost of the oils does not matter. There are some sites that sell them for a great price.
You want to look for 100% essental oils
or what is called absolute oil
absolute oils are about 2 X’s stronger than the essential oils
you want to make sure that you do not use more than 4 different kinds at once or you will lose the medicinal effect
you also do not want to use too much as they do effect your body.
Also DO NOT SWALLOW THEY CAN BECOME TOXIC
