You should use just as much oil that it is enough for your hands and that the oil that is left on the skin would absorb into it eventually. You may think that your mineral oil will be possibly allowed, yes it can be but the fact that it will be poorly absorb by your skin it will somehow be useless and it will have less effect than what you have expected and it is somehow irritant on your skin because of its heating effect.
