As soon as HCG starts working in the body, it burns the fat deposits in it to provide the calories needed to get through the day.

So, once a dieter has lost all excess weight, the treatment needs to be discontinued as the body will reject the limited intake of 500 total daily calories once all the stored fat is used up. The diet that you maintain while taking HCG shots should be protein rich and low in carbohydrates, starches and fat. As with most diets, you have to steer clear of any alcohol consumption as it may upset the diet.

Moreover, if you opt for more advanced versions of the HCG , you will be administered additional appetite suppressants in the form of daily injections of phentermine and other stimulants. Till date, only a few side effects of this diet have been reported and is considered quite safe.

One of my bosses work at a prison and he doesn't have time to do that much eating. First off, you should try to eat as often as you can. Working at a prison can be strenuous on your health but try as often as you can to speed up your metabolism. Did you follow the eating plans that came with the p90x and insanity? There is much I would like to tell you but other writers probably can best sum it up better than me.

You should try eating as many meals as you can, generally 5-8. Eat a balanced proportion of fruits, vegetables, complex carbs, protein, and fiber. Drink lots of water. Cut out all the sodas, drinks, smoothies, everything except water, non-fat milk, and tea (green tea, black tea, etc.). Try to do some form of cardio at least 5 days a week or as many as you can fit in. My aunt and mother always do "Training with Jillian Michaels" dvds. My cousin does p90x and it's working for him, which makes me question your diet. When doing p90x or insanity try to sweat as much as possible without dehydrating, put on two shirts and sweats and sweat out all that water and cut off body fat. The more water you drink the less you actually will attain. Cut out all junk food and foods/snacks high in sugar. Substitute those with fruit like bananas, watermelon, berries, avocado, or blueberries.
