IBS Syndrome
Spastic colon sounds awfully unpleasant, and it definitely can be. Actually, spastic colon is often used as another name for Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). No matter the term, this condition causes painful cramps, bloating, fatigue, nausea and other related symptoms, and millions across the world seek relief.
The causes are believed to be nuerological in nature. The problem begins when your brain fires signals to your intestine which causes food to be moved too quickly or too slowly. This hurts the normal digestive process that
you have. IBS is often associated with stress, anxiety and sleep disorders. These attacks may be triggered by stress on the job when you cannot meet deadlines or your boss is always finding fault with your work. Stressful events like the death of someone close or losing a job suddenly will cause this illness.
Women are more likely to suffer from IBS than men. Scientific studies show female hormonal changes may play a role in this factor. There may be strong evidence to this since women with IBS tend to report exacerbations during their menstrual cycles, and also feel a stronger need to seek out IBS relief. Even men, though, can experience exacerbations in their IBS symptoms along with women when sick with intestinal illnesses and other sicknesses that bring the immune system down.
IBS symptoms are many and are often accompanied with or include abdominal pain, diarrhea, constipation, or a feeling of incomplete bowel movement. There are four different classifications of IBS, which have slightly different symptoms. IBS-D has diarrhea as its predominant symptom. IBS-C is characterized by constipation as its primary symptom. Thirdly IBS-A is named for the acute pain a patient feels as the most predominant of the IBS symptoms. Lastly IBS-PI is named for the fact that the onset of IBS symptoms closely follows an infectious disease the patient has had. Fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or a positive stool culture often characterizes this last form of the disease.
These studies have lead to the formulation of Bavolex. It contains plant enzymes and extracts designed to help Irritable Bowel Syndrome. This amazing formula stops constipation and bloating. It improves digestion and calms the nervous condition the person suffers from. What is it exactly that Bavolex contains?
Bavolex can reduce stress and anxiety while it works to improve the functioning of the digestive system.

To expand on thenoseknows' answer.
An example would be if you could convince a patient that "real" acupuncture works and they felt better after treatment. Of course acupuncture itself is just a placebo, but they were convinced of it's powers, so they felt some relief.
Homeopathic remedies are another example. The majority contain no active ingredients and the ones that do have just shy of nothing in them. People that have been conned into thinking they work will get a placebo response from them.
The danger that comes from treating people with a placebo is when they begin to rely on it for serious medical conditions. The world isn't short on homeopaths and other various quacks who will gladly separate you from your money.

They definitely should be taught that when you take statin drugs you need to take co Q10 because it depletes your body's natural ability to produce it and then you die.
Also many cancer patients are not told to take certain vitamins and minerals to help the side effects caused by radiation and chemo
B12 shots are needed for alzheimers patients which most places do give but they should be optimized with other things for memory such as gingko and phosphatidyserine.
