When you do aerobics training, ensure that you maintain a heart rate of 120 to 140 beats per minute. At this rate you get the best results. When you get a light sweat at the end of your workout you can be sure that you are exercising right. Follow your exercise regimen strictly and do not give in to laziness otherwise you will not achieve your goal. It is very important that you do not lose focus. Set your goals and work to the plan. Resist the temptation of giving up midway. It may be tough but you must persevere and once you are set on track you will be glad you did.

Nice post. Its interesting how hard you actually need to workout to lose calories. However, what they don't say is if you do workouts to target specific areas, you can lose weight easily. There are workout videos that show you how to target these key spots necessary to lose weight in just a short time commitment each day. However, eating less and more healthy definitely increases the speed you will lose weight.

I just want to throw this out there.

I noticed that Mike Boyle (whom I think the world of) was imagining himself a fat loss expert and then mentioning the “training” aspects of Turbulence Training and Cosgrove's Afterburn…both of which derive their concepts from the same idea (but I prefere Turbulence Training as far as real world fat-loss).

BUT, and this is a big but, a fat-loss expert who mentions training FIRST without ever mentioning DIET is NOT a fat loss expert. You cannot work off a bad diet.

Many of these strength and conditioning coaches seem to be wanting to cash in on the fat-loss market but they are simply regurgitating other people's work when it comes to diet.

Training for fat-loss ain't rocket science. You don't need a whole book to cover that. Getting people to learn to change their lifestyle in a sustainable way is what you need a book for.
